Very sturdy and well made. I’ll use this for iPhone travel photos on a Manfrotto Element tripod. It’s exactly the combination I was looking for - and receiving it the same day from Amazon was terrific.

I picked up the ST-27 for more flexibility after previously going compact (and cheaper) with the ST-03. I should have saved my money on that one and just jumped directly to the ST-27 - its much more capable and really doesnt take that much more space.

well its a bit to work with ill admit that much but when you get used to it its actually more fun to use with a gopro hinge laying around in combo and makes taking pics really easy. well thats that for this review.

This item makes you feel very secure with your expensive phone on it. It fits my iPhone 11 Max Pro while fitted with the extended Apple battery Case. When you interact with the touchscreen on your phone while it is locked into this mount you can feel how sturdy this system is. Other phone mounts I owned you could feel the flexing when you interact with the phone’s screen while the phone sat in those mounts. This one is solid and so worthy of me writing a positive review. The only downside to this mount is that it is not very flexible. That is to say, with my other mounts I could adjust 360 degree angles of the phone without adjusting the tripod ball mount. This system is way more secure but, it is not as flexible as my other mounts that had a ball rotating feature on the mount itself.

I was very pleased with the construction of this metal phone tripod mount. The movement is smooth and has just two adjustment knobs. One for locking the rotation angle of the phone, and one for locking the phone tension arm. And very versatile with the cold shoe mounts for small external lights, microphone, etc.

I wasnt sure of this from the pics, but its solid and works great! the red knob locks down the spring loaded clamp on the phone, and the black ring between the red knob and device locks the position that you rotate the phone in. all in all its really well built and a must for my arsenal
