> 24 hourI decided to take up longboarding, and knew Id need a basic, beginners board to bang up and scratch as I learned. This board was everything I needed to learn on. Its stable and responsive. I tightened the bushings in the beginning for even more stability, and loosened them over time. The grip tape is definitely grippy, even when it gets wet or dirty. Even better, this board comes with a skate tool! Keep in mind though, youre getting what youre paying for. Two of my wheels dont spin quite as well as the others, and after getting Bones Reds bearings to replace the ABEC-9 bearings it came with, it seemed the problem was more with the trucks. Also, after riding for a few days outside, I discovered the front truck had bent upward already, making the front wheel hover a tiny bit off the ground--not the most durable. Still, the board handles well, and I have no other complaints! Overall: Great for beginners, inexpensive, free skate tool. Bang up a cheap board until you learn the basics, then graduate to a better board!

> 24 hourI haven’t go on a skateboard for a long time and decided to adventure myself again, but this time with a longboard. I decided to buy this one because was easier to receive at home and the reviews regarding being good for beginners were good. Well, one month later: I LOVE this longboard. Couldn’t be happier. I’m riding everyday for around an hour and it has been great - it’s definitely good and easy for beginners because of its shape closer to the ground, brings a lot of stability. I improved a lot in a month. Wheels and bearings: also nothing to complain so far. Overall: Great choice!

> 24 hourMy first board and it was honestly a perfect board to learn. Balance is great, wheels are durable. I use this board to commute in a flat urban setting, and it flies through many types of urban terrain. 5/5 Highly recommend!

> 24 hourIve never had a longboard and I can tell you for sure that this is a great board to learn on. Again, its a starter board - so theres a few caveats. The most being the bearings being sub par. HOWEVER! For learning purposes, its probably better you start off with a really tight and slow board to learn the basics then work your way to replacing the bearings. Reds are a great set to put in! But what really shines is the customer service. As a lot of other reviews have noted the packing is sometimes lackluster and can cause minor cosmetic or hardware defects. In my case it was a small crack running down from one of the trucks. Having never really worked with boards before, a quick email to the company and they provide a quick and reasonable solution. The company itself REALLY values its customers, so if you have any questions definitely shoot them an email. Trust me, coming from someone who just wanted to start and get into boarding, this is a great buy!

> 24 hourI was searching through Amazon looking for a good, reliable long board that could last me a while and came across numerous other options for roughly the same price. I would check the reviews of the other boards and cracking/breaking was a common issue with a good amount of them. To add on, the bearings and trucks were cheaply made, making me choose Playshion instead. The common issue with boards at this price range are the bearings and the trucks, but with this board they are pretty good if you loosen them slightly. Before this board, I used a Sector 9 board which is about $150-200 which I enjoyed riding but gave away to a relative. I will be honest and say the Playshion board can be compared to the Sector 9 because it is priced perfectly for what you get. The maple wood feels great, although it does have some wood splinters that werent smoothed down. The wheels are wide and make it easy to go over pretty much everything, rocks, branches, and even curbs. The bearings are alright and you wont have to change them for a good while. As I said, the only thing about this board is that you have to loosen the trucks and wheels a bit so that you can go faster, but at the same time I enjoy to have my board a bit more sensitive than most. Overall, I would recommend this board to anyone who is getting into long-boarding and doesnt want to break the bank. The concave design of the board makes it easy to steer and control for those learning as well.

> 24 hourLove this board. Im a 28 year old female who has never skateboarded in her life but always wanted to. My boyfriend skateboards on occasion and I wanted to be able to tag along on a board instead of always using my bike. In comes this lovely little long board. It was perfect for me to learn on. The bearings are smooth but not too fast, the board has just the slightest bit of flex to it, and the trucks have plenty of mobility for turning this stretched out bad boy around corners. Wheels are an appropriate fit for the board. I would highly recommend this board for a beginner, I dont know how a seasoned skateboarder would feel, I know my boyfriend recommends changing the bearings for faster and longer coasts once Im comfortable enough.

> 24 hourThe whole thing cracked on the bottom. Now my son can’t ride it and it’s only about two months old. Update: excellent customer service. Customer service contacted me right away to see how they could help or fix the situation. They sent me a new board right away. So far it’s been great. For me when you have good customer service it goes a long way. Tells me they care about their product and their customers. My son was super excited and has been riding the board ever since he received. They did not have to respond or send us a new board but I appreciate that they did!

> 24 hourI just got this board and am fairly new at longboarding but hooked. This is my second board. My first one was a Retrospect pintail, which I liked, but then I got this board and it was a total game changer. I was falling on my ass everyday and starting to think I just didnt have it in me until I got this board. This thing carves like crazy! I can make really tight turns and the drop-through trucks make me feel closer to the earth and safer. Theres a decent amount of flex, which I personally like, it feels more stable and less rigid than my pintail. Ive actually started picking up some boardwalking tricks which Id never been able to do on the other board. This is like plug and play fun if youre a beginning longboarder.
