> 24 hourWorks great with our Diaper Genie II Deluxe Diaper unit. Highly recommended since Target, the food store, and even Walmart are much more expensive.

> 24 hourMy wife and I have used the Diaper Genie II Elite for the past two years for our daughter. I have found it to be largely durable and just as advertised in terms of containing the smell. There does seem to be one point of weakness though (which may or may not be unavoidable due to the design) where as about 6 months ago, the piece of perforated plastic which secures the top lid broke from just the every day stress of needing to resist the force of the footpedal. That being said, I managed to jury-rig a fix, with an old credit card and some super glue, such that now it works again, but alas, not quite as well as before. The one incredible positive that I would recommend though (If you can or have a husband who can stomach the brief smell) is the fact that because the bags are so durable/strong, when changing them out (before you cut the bag and tie it off), you can actually push down all the diapers, squeezing out most of the air (flows into bag above) and therefore almost creating a vacuum of just very dense diaper mass. At this point, I simply use a twist tie to seal the top and cut it free from the liner. Then simply squeeze (this is the smelly part -I would recommend doing this in an open air/outside area if possible) the remaining air out. In this way, I have managed to stretch one refill for up to a month and a half (using size 3 diapers, would be longer with smaller diapers probably). In researching alternatives (e.g. the Munchkin product) it seems like this would be impossible due to the individual nature of each refill. Hope this helps...

> 24 hourexcellent product. easy way to dispose of dirty diapers.odors are kept to a minimum. Once its full just tie a knot and of goes a long blue sausage of used diapers. of course can only be used with the diaper genie.been using it for the last year.my wife originally bought it for our son, great decision, highly recommend it as a gift if you or someone you care about is expecting. trust me they will thank you forever. replacing the bags is easy, pretty much just drop it in.

> 24 hourThe diaper genie is a must have for disposal of smelly diapers. The bags work as they should and contain odors as they should. The one issue I have is that each of the refills only seems to last for a few pail-fulls before needing to be replaced. For the price, I would expect them to last longer or give you more bag for your buck.

> 24 hourNot much to say, works as expected. No issues with the fit or quality of the product. Better price online compared to the stores, so far.

> 24 hourI find that one refill lasts about 2-3 weeks. So I dont think theyre too expensive, though Im sure they could be cheaper if Playtex wanted. But they have a good product, so what can I say. Either you find it worth for the 100% stink elimination and ease of use, or you dont. However, they are over-priced here at $7 each. I get them at Target for about $5.60 each, give or take 10 cents as the price fluctuates a little. UPDATE: They are getting too expensive for me! Even at Target theyre nearly $8 each. And they have raised the price here too. I have found that a standard grocery sack works nearly as well. Just take off the lid, drape the bag over the top of the can, and fit the lid over it to hold it in place. Then push the bag down through the catch flap. It doesnt hold as much as the Genie refills, but its a heck of a lot cheaper!!
