Playtex Diaper Genie Refill (810 Count Total - 3 Pack of 270 Each)

> 3 dayThese are pricier than the generic ones, but they are better designed. On the cheaper alternative, the container has a wider gap at the top that allows more bag to pull through than is needed for each diaper... so you end up wasting bag and spending more money in the long run (because you use more bag for the same number of diapers and thus have to buy them more often). If the cheaper version could read this review and fix that, theyd be basically the same product as this for less money. [The plus side of the wider gap on the other one is that you can keep one of them and refill it yourself with a regular kitchen trashbag if youre in a pinch and cant get another one ordered in time before you run out. The narrow gap on the genie brand ones doesnt allow you to easily refill it yourself... so buy -one- of those at least and keep it when its empty for emergency situations... then buy these the rest of the time.]

> 3 dayI love my Diaper Genie-- my kid is a poop machine. I needed a way to keep it filled without running to the store all the time. Amazon Mom to the rescue! These refills are delivered to my front door regularly, and work like a charm. I very rarely have diaper smells in my sons nursery. These work GREAT and are easy to use.

> 3 dayI find that one refill lasts about 2-3 weeks. So I dont think theyre too expensive, though Im sure they could be cheaper if Playtex wanted. But they have a good product, so what can I say. Either you find it worth for the 100% stink elimination and ease of use, or you dont. However, they are over-priced here at $7 each. I get them at Target for about $5.60 each, give or take 10 cents as the price fluctuates a little. UPDATE: They are getting too expensive for me! Even at Target theyre nearly $8 each. And they have raised the price here too. I have found that a standard grocery sack works nearly as well. Just take off the lid, drape the bag over the top of the can, and fit the lid over it to hold it in place. Then push the bag down through the catch flap. It doesnt hold as much as the Genie refills, but its a heck of a lot cheaper!!

Greater than one weekThis is exactly what is ordered. It works great, has an indicator to warn that it is near the end and the best thing is that it seals in the smell so it doesnt take over the house.

> 3 dayI can only compare the Diaper Genie and its refills to those I used years ago when I was babysitting for others...I always remember bad smells and difficulty changing the bags. For us, this system is perfect. We never have an issue with odor and it takes seconds to refill. I would recommend to anyone!

> 3 dayWorks great with our Diaper Genie II Deluxe Diaper unit. Highly recommended since Target, the food store, and even Walmart are much more expensive.
