Need to have for any newborns room. So much easier and less smelly than a regular trash bin. buy in bulk you will use them. Easy to use bags are strong, they just work. Would buy more.

I havent used anything else but the genie II. So far so good, even stinky poops are contained within the diaper genie. dont ask me how since it appears there are some small gaps within the jaws that clamp around the plastic. all i know is it works. The bag refills are a bit on the expensive side, but having amazon prime helps contain costs. Thanks

These are the actual Playtex refills for the diaper genie so there isnt much more to say about them. If youve never used a Genie before, these bags dont rip easily. In fact, I dont think Ive ever had one rip after disposing of thousands of stinking dirty bombs. If you tie both ends tight enough after the Genie is full the stink doesnt seep out either.

product was received in excellent conditions. It works as advertised. no odors in the room. easy to use and refill. good size, also. it can hold several diapers.

The position of our sons room means that the smelly odors from diapers waft into our living areas. Yucky. I used a diaper genie with my first son over 13 years ago with decent success. But this improved diaper genie elite really does hold back the odor. I empty mine twice a week, the night before the garbage runs. It is not necessary though. Once I tie the knot, no odor escapes. Very happy that refills are available from Amazon Mom!

Easy to use, and a good deal. Only thing I do not like is that sometimes it is hard to find the start of the pack. You open it and just start pulling some of the bag out, hoping to get the end of it. Sometimes I pull half of the bag out before finding the end of it, so I can tie it off and use it.
