Playtex Diaper Genie Refill (810 Count Total - 3 Pack of 270 Each)

I havent used anything else but the genie II. So far so good, even stinky poops are contained within the diaper genie. dont ask me how since it appears there are some small gaps within the jaws that clamp around the plastic. all i know is it works. The bag refills are a bit on the expensive side, but having amazon prime helps contain costs. Thanks

This thing is a must-have...however I give it 4 stars because they are pretty pricy. We throw poopy diapers in the pail, and then we just throw the wet diapers in the regular trash can since they dont stink everything up as bad.

I find that one refill lasts about 2-3 weeks. So I dont think theyre too expensive, though Im sure they could be cheaper if Playtex wanted. But they have a good product, so what can I say. Either you find it worth for the 100% stink elimination and ease of use, or you dont. However, they are over-priced here at $7 each. I get them at Target for about $5.60 each, give or take 10 cents as the price fluctuates a little. UPDATE: They are getting too expensive for me! Even at Target theyre nearly $8 each. And they have raised the price here too. I have found that a standard grocery sack works nearly as well. Just take off the lid, drape the bag over the top of the can, and fit the lid over it to hold it in place. Then push the bag down through the catch flap. It doesnt hold as much as the Genie refills, but its a heck of a lot cheaper!!

Overall I love the diaper genie and ofcourse the refills are a must. I found some of these refills didnt feed that well, so I had to mess with the bag to make sure the diapers moved down into the body of the genie. That was kind of annoying b/c it meant me putting my hands on the dirty diapers and at times the lid of the genie came down on my hand and it was a bit sharp.

Cant afford the refills anymore, so Im going to be recycling grocery bags from now on. It is just too expensive when you think about how often you have to empty this thing! Product works great and as expected though!

Good for when babies are small and diapers dont stink. The diaper genie is horrible though once babies get older. It smells sooooo bad because the lid doesnt seal the smell in. Our daughters room keeps smelling like dirty diapers. These bags are thin and let the smell out. Do Not buy a diaper genie.

What can you say about diaper bags.... It keeps the smell out but as they get older you seem to empty it more and more (the deposits get LARGER)
