> 3 dayI am always heartened when I get a product and it has a little card in it saying to contact them with any issues, and an actual web address rather than just contact through Amazon. IMO, it shows integrity in the company and commitment to back their products. Plugable is an actual company with a number of products and a company website, and not just a random series of letters as the seller name.

> 3 dayIf you are looking for a reliable USB4 cable, then look no further than Plugable. This cable is well-built and has exceeded my expectations. It allows for a fast transfer of data and charging of devices. The 240W charging capacity is incredible and saves me time and effort. I also love the fact that I can hook it up to my 8K Display and experience the quality of visuals. The cable is compatible with USB 4, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, and USB-C. I cant recommend this cable enough for anyone who needs a reliable and high-quality USB4 cable.

> 3 dayThis is a good Thunderbolt cable. The right cable makes a huge difference when you’re dealing with data as opposed to just for charging. I have an external RAID drive that has a USB-C interface and I just used a USB-C cable I had laying around. The transfer speeds were disappointingly slow and I thought it was the RAID hardware. I decided to swap out the cable with this one— and what a difference! Previously I was maxing out at 30MB read/write, now I’m getting up to 250MB, which is more like what I was expecting. (Thunderbolt can go faster, but the RAID is only rated for USB 3 speeds).

Greater than one weekUSB type C cables are are no longer simple and interchangeable. Design, specifications, and build quality are all important, and all factors in the pricetag, too.

> 3 dayI own several Apple products, including a few computers, so I always have a need for Thunderbolt cables. I use them both as monitor cables and to connect fast external SSD drives to my computers. I already have Thunderbolt cables from Apple, Belkin, and Cable Matters. Those cables have all worked great, but they are also very expensive. This cable from Plugable is much more affordable, but the quality is just as good as the more expensive ones from what I can tell so far. The speed when connecting external hard drives to my Mac is just as good. I have also used other products made by Plugable before, so I expected the quality to be excellent based on that previous experience. If you need a quality Thunderbolt cable, but you dont want to spend a ridiculous amount of money, I highly recommend this one.

> 3 dayI have yet to be disappointed by plugable peripherals. In reviewing this cable i got both the Thunderbolt 4 and the USB 4 cable - both carry a USB-C style port but specifications can vary. Thunderbolt 4 has a higher minimum standard. While both claim 240w and 40 Gbps, Thunderbolt 4 can provide extra peripheral support. This USB4 cable does is job and is able to support full power delivery, cable is well built and high quality. If you are thinking about using it with a Hub/dock it may be worth paying about $10 for the thunderbolt 4 version.

> 3 dayThis is exactly what I needed to connect to a USB-C dock. I just wanted a spare cable. I have a USB-C dock where you need a USB-C cable to connect to it.

> 3 dayI’m using high speed hubs now, and want to get as much power in & out of them to other my devices, while also increasing my data transfer speeds for my large 4K video files. The cables are perfect for that and feel well made, and look great.

> 3 dayI am impressed with the quality of this cable. I primarily purchased this cable to replace the extremely short cable that came with my docking station. I needed something significantly longer. This cable powers two monitors and two external hard drives and charges my laptop. I liked it so well that I bought a second cable for a different desk.
