Greater than one weekI love pokemon been playing it for years. This is my least favorite of them all. I really dislike the camera angles, trying to make it a 3d world. I rather have a view from above angle like the older games even if it was a mix like X and Y. Its so disorienting. Also not a huge fan of the Hawaiian theme. Its too cutesy for my tastes. I also dont like the island challenges vs calling them gym leaders. I do love the starter pokemon and I do like the changing outfits thing and the battles are great with animations. 3 stars.

> 3 dayThese games are some of my favourite from the franchise. I remember spending all of 2017 summer playing the original moon and all of 2018 holidays playing newly released ultra sun. The games themselves are great improvements on the originals, and if you played the originals and are wondering if these are worth it, Ill tell you right now that they are! These games are better than every pokemon game on the switch for me at least, and yes, that includes bdsp and legends arceus! Now for those of you who are curious about the version (World/UAE edition or North American). In short, nintendo have officially stopped making any games new or old for these devices earlier this year. Amazon in the last few years has also started to support third party providers for their products. This means that unless you are getting your game from a third party who somehow has these games new in North America, you will almost always get the UAE/World edition... What does this mean? Almost nothing! The game performs the exact same as a North American copy (assuming you have a NA 3ds/2ds/3ds xl/2ds xl). The only difference you will see is on the box art of the game case. It will have a little circle with UAE countries in it, but that is all! In simpler words... If you are seeing if these games are good or want to play them, this is a great purchase, but if you are a collector who wants a NA branded game case, this might not be the one for you.

> 3 dayOkay, so let me start by saying that if you own Pokemon Sun/Moon, then Ultra Sun/Moon doesnt have much more to offer. There are a few changes that does help a lot, and that includes seeing Pokemon out in the wild just living their peaceful lives while you go about your adventure. The changes in the story make things feel a bit fresher, and the post game story feels a bit simple, but its quite fun going through the Rainbow Rockets, whom are actually pretty tough, and quite funny to read their dialogues. Giovanni is a true badass though, but sadly that story is left inconclusive. There are other additions like buildings that were under construction in Sun/Moon, are now Picture Clubs or Surf Shacks in Ultra Sun.Moon. The Mantine surfing is also fun, to a certain degree, though it is hard to unlock new moves for higher scores. Overall, I do not like the game, but I do not dislike it either. I would, however, recommend it to someone that has not played the original Sun/Moon games, or to someone that really loves the franchise.

> 3 dayIve not yet finished this iteration of Pokemon, but so far its been a mostly neat new experience. At times it doesnt quite feel as exactly the Pokemon games of old, but if they take these new experiences and refine them when they get to a Switch version then I believe it could be something grand on a platform that could support many more possibility then the now aging Dual Screen systems.

Greater than one weekI highly recommend this game to all Pokemon gamers veteran and new! Having already played and beaten Pokémon moon, I purchased ultra moon to compare the differences. The plot line is slightly different from the regular moon. Plus there are new activities, side quests, and Pokémon to catch like the original starters bulbasaur, squirtle, and charmander!

> 3 dayI got the World Edition print of this game instead of the NA print, they both work the same I’m just bothered by the sticker on the front. The photo I used is what it actually looks like

> 3 dayProduct is advertised as North American version yet the one that is shipped to you is the WORLD VERSION which you can find somewhere else for cheaper if that is the version that you want

> 3 dayI think it is good. However if you are looking for something totally different from sun and moon you wont find it but if you would like to play through Alola again with some things added or changed I can recommend it.

> 3 dayThis is honestly just kind of lazy in design. With few exceptions, if youve played Pokemon Sun and Moon, youve played this one. Some people have different pokemon and they change a few locations marginally, added a mini-game, but the only real improvement is that there are far more pokemon available to catch. The story is changed very little, but what few changes there are ruins the story. The only worthwhile content comes in the endgame when some old faces from previous games return, and it is over way too fast. Im glad it didnt cost as much as Pokemon Sun and Moon, but honestly this should have been $30 tops at release for how copy and paste the game is. Only hardcore collectors or people that skipped the previous games should buy this, Im regretting my own purchase.

> 3 dayDon’t listen to the people saying it’s just a remake of the previous Sun/Moon games, because while it is—it is also much, MUCH, better. From the update UI designs to the added storyline progression, everything culminates in one great Pokémon game/3DS game in general!
