Love the sound of these speakers. Purchased for backyard and pool area. Incredible clarity at all volumes. Only issue is the clarity at high volume is so good, that I turn it up too loud and get complaints from some of my neighbors.

These replaced some 20 year old Boston Acoustics that had served us well but had gotten a little spongy sounding. We played some Price on the old speakers first and then hooked up the new and played the same music at the same volume. It was better but not great. I know there is debate about speaker break in but I just left these on for a about 5 hours and when I cam back out...they sounded great! Huge improvement over the old speakers. Definitely a lot of bang for the buck. Well see how they sound in 20 years...

Very pleased. Sold as used like new. Plastic had only been removed from one speaker. Really were new. Have not stress tested yet, easy to install and sound great. They are BIG, but they have bass we never had before.

I first purchased some Pyle outdoor speakers to replace some blown Polk Atrium 45s. The Polks lasted several years until my youngin cranked them to max volume for a party. I was excited by the lower price of the Pyles and I had thought Pyle was a good name. That image went away immediately upon attempted installation. The thumb screws that anchor the speaker to its own bracket were too long and bottomed out in their tapped hole inserts before the bracket was snug against the speaker. To make matters worse, when I tightened the thumb screw, it bound up and could not be removed from the now freely spinning insert. I did hook up the stereo to hear the sound quality. I would say it was sub par and not worth my time reworking the thumb screw design. I returned the speakers and promptly purchased the Polk Atrium 6s. Definitely a different price point, but what a difference. I could have purchased the Atrium 4s that were closer in level to the 45s, but I decided to upgrade. The sound is tremendous in the Polks and the fit and finish are by far better than the Pyles. I would have no problem recommending the Polks to anyone.

Hoping they hold up to Midwest weather-- for now, excellent sound quality-- lots of bass. Easy to mount and install. Great value and quality. Top of the line!

Perfect outdoor speakers. We mounted 2 around 10’ off the ground. Sound quality is close to perfection. I would highly recommend these speakers.

Chose the Polk 6 over other Polk options due to the size of my backyard and the distance between the speakers. They sound great. These are the 3rd set of exterior speakers Ive installed in 20 years (Bose & JBLs previously). I chose them due to their rating. So far I am very pleased with their sound clarity and ability to handle the bass.
