These are a perfect replacement for my Elan outdoor speakers. After 10 years of outdoor abuse they needed replacing and these fit the bill. They produce a nice level of bass and produce good audio over a a fairly large volume of outdoor space. At about 50 Watts they are uncomfortably loud yet still very clear.

These Polk are incredibly simple to install compared to other outdoor speakers. You are better off spending the extra money over the Pyle brand thats on here for $60. I used to buy them exclusively but they kept breaking due to poor design. These are worth the extra money. I buy a lot of audio video equipment and you cant go wrong with Polk

These speakers are amazing. Slightly bigger than I expected but not a problem. The sound and volume stand far ahead of the competition. Price is more than fair.

replaced my outdoor JBL speakers with these. The sound is excellent, wide range to cover 30x20 foot patio, good highs, and ok bass but that is expected from a speaker of this size. I have these paired with a subwoofer and it sounds amazing. I would say this sound is just as good as a Sonos set up but at half the price. Would consider these indoors to replace speakers down the line.

Great performers!! Much better than TIC GS5’s. These speakers rock with decent sound quality. Very satisfied with them. They fill my 2 acre yard with plenty of sound.

I am a bit of an audiophile. I own some of the most prized speakers and amps for my various audio systems. I ordered these sound unheard to top off my home system with an outdoor set. I am powering them with a 200watt SS amp and a Yamaha pre-amp pushing various digital sources. Let me tell you: They sound FANTASTIC. Clear, present and clean. Deep bass, pleasant highs, and more than enough uhhmmmppphhh to push your guests off their chairs and onto the dance floor. Trust me, I am very picky and seldom rain praise. However, these speakers deserve their praise. They are neutral yet present. Solid and clean. Sound great at low volumes and can handle more power than you ... Buy them, youll love their sound. The ONLY thing I dont like is the shallowness of their wire plugs. Normal sized banana plugs are too long to fit with the speaker mount. So you have to use short ones or none at all. Not a big deal, but was kind of a pain to deal with during install.

These speakers sound great on my patio, and are attractive to boot. Installation was a snap, and it took less than an hour to install the pair.

I love these speakers and they have very nice bass. They are not as crisp a speaker compared to my indoor Monitor 70 speakers but they are better than my bookshelf RTI6s. One thing I noticed is that the bass fades away starting at about 35 feet away. Even without the presence of strong bass they still sound amazing at 60 feet and outperform anything I heard at the local Best Buy. I listen to mostly rock, country, plus a little R&B. Everything sounds good and I cant complain other than the fact that I cant turn them up without disturbing the neighbors. I have mine mounted about 15 ft. overhead directly under the overhang of the house using 16ga wire on a 50ft run.

I love them but box came all beat up should really be shipped inside of another box!Very small dent on the speaker grill!

I bought this because of the reviews and because I had been a long-time Polk and Definitive loyalist. When I went to mount this, the speed-lock mounting system turned out to be defective, as one end kept rotating freely without tightening. Instead of returning it immediately, I called Polk tech support, and thats when the frustrations began to mount. I spoke to a guy Kim, who gave me a reference # on 5/20/19 for an order he put in to replace the speaker, but I was suspicious when I never got a confirming e-mail. Sure enough, when I did not get the part, I called on 5/31/19 and no one knew anything about it. I asked Greg to have a supervisor call me; he said he would - never got a call. Will just try to return to Amazon at this point. Very disappointing!
