> 3 dayWe purchased these speakers as a replacement for a set we have had for 9 and a half tears. Our original ones were Atrium 5. The sound quality is excellent and very very clear. These are on our back porch and can be heard very clearly deep into the back yard even without the volume turned up a lot. The price, delivery speed and packaging was all excellent. We will enjoy these for many years.

> 3 dayI am impressed with how Great they sound. I thought I would lose a lot of the sound and bottom, but these are great for outside speaker.

> 3 dayThe Good: -They sound good. Theyre not audiophile speakers, of course, but they sound much better than some of the other outdoor speakers Ive heard, and better than any other outdoor speaker I auditioned in this price range. -Theyre rugged, which you really need in an outdoor speaker. Its not just rain, after all; an outdoor speaker has to contend with errant footballs, rough handling, curious animals, etc, any of which would break a normal indoor speaker. These have a metal grill and very sturdy build and should stand up to almost anything. -I like the mounting system; very flexible and well-engineered. The Bad (and these are minor) -Very cramped, awkward space for the binding posts. I use banana plugs because I need a quick, easy way to hook them up (standing on a ladder, fumbling around behind the speaker) and theres not enough room back there for normal banana plugs. I wound up buying some right-angle plugs (I got the Monoprice), and those resolved this for me. -Sound quality is good for an outdoor speaker in this price range but if you dont need a rugged speaker, you can get much better sound for the price. As Im writing this review, the ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 is on sale for about the same price as these Atriums, and the ELAC has much better sound. Of course, the ELAC probably wouldnt survive a night on my patio. Bottom line: If you need an outdoor speaker in this price range, this speaker would be my recommendation.

> 3 dayIs not as loud and has distortion especially if you add a little bass. Customer service is bad, keep you on hold for over 30 minutes. Do not buy if you need loudness.

08-06-2025These speakers are awesome! They pump out some serious bass at any level. I have my TV wired into a small amplifier so I can watch TV and hear the TV through the speakers. These are a great buy for your backyard. You will not be disappointed.
