> 3 dayI mounted my TV on the wall, and this solution was perfect to put cords through the wall and not violate code. Youll need a drywall saw to cut holes for the top and bottom plates. The templates included are very helpful. You have to screw the faceplates in for longer than expected for them to be firmly in place. If theyre wiggly, just keep screwing them in. A few things made this a four star review instead of five: - The upper outlet is recessed, so if you have a large or odd-shaped plug (like my Rokus) it wont fit in the recessed portion without an adapter. - This is way too expensive for what it is. Its cheaper than calling an electrician, but its ridiculous to pay this much for just a few pieces of plastic

Greater than one weekI installed this in less time than one might think. The hardest part is just making sure youre in between studs and have it marked out level. You then cut out the two openings, slide the top outlet in, pull the wire out the bottom opening, connect the two outlets together, and then tighten them down. Plug in the extension cord to a surge protector and boom, power. There are two green lights on the outlets to let you know that you have power all the way up to the top. My neighbor helped me lift my TV onto the wall bracket and said that was a pretty clever product and he is now looking into one for his TV setup.

> 3 dayVery easy DIY in wall installation kit. You just need to find a spot between the wall studs and a drywall saw. You have code compliant electrical cable in an all-in-one kit. You definitely save a lot of money in install costs. You could probably argue that you can get the individual components cheaper. If you know what your doing, than great, do that but be careful. You shouldn’t just run any cable that will carry higher voltage inside of walls and you really want to have the appropriate knowledge to put it all together properly. I highly recommend this product!

> 3 dayPros: good quality, straight forward installation, works as designed Cons: quality could be better (-1 star), still seems cheaply made for $70 Installation was very straight forward. I did a LOT of research into similar devices and decided the higher price for this product was worth the risk. Everything worked out of the box. Im using this for a wall mounted TV. The cable management easily allowed 2 HDMI, 1 Optical Audio and 1 Cat5 Ethernet cable (4 cables total). The clips that hold the face plate to the wall are flimsy but you can easily get them tight enough without breaking them - I gently hand tightened then pulled the face plate every so often to feel the tension. Once the tension was good I stopped tightening.

> 3 dayReally excellent product. Only issue was my innattention to how deep it is. Once I had measured everything out and measured again and started cutting I discovered that this was actually about 1.75 deeper than the space between the Sheetrock and lathe in my wall. Judicious application of spade bit drill took care of that, although I came about .25 from punching clean through into my stairwell (seeing light coming through was alarming). But it looks great and by that I mean I cant see it or my cabling at all. I have one HDMI cable running through it. The power cable is very stiff and theres way too much of it for what I needed but if you fight with it you can get it all stuffed into the wall.

> 3 dayWould it be cheaper to install an outlet and run power up to it? Maybe. Would it be worth the extra hassle and headache? Absolutely not. This was well worth the price - my husband installed this and mounted our tv in one morning. It comes with a handy template for cutting into the drywall, and the connection between the two lines is very secure. Most importantly, it works! And now our wall looks great with all the wires hidden. I would chose this any day over messing around with live wires! My only complaint isnt with this - its with my TV plug, which is a sideways plug (rather than being bigger on the bottom, like most bulky plugs). Because of that, I can only use one of the two plus because the cord cant (and shouldnt) bend at a sharp enough angle to fit a plug into each outlet. Not the PowerBridges fault at all - Samsung just needs to design their plugs better!

> 3 dayI was intimidated to do this, but it turned out to be pretty easy. We installed over a fireplace. (1) trace the templates between studs, (2) cut the drywall out, (3) insert the top box, (4) pull cords out on other side, (5) snap the power cords together, (6) insert bottom box, (7) tighten screws.
