21-11-2024Works well. Cable pass through could be a bit larger. The power connector sits right behind the pass through making it somewhat difficult to get multiple cables up to the TV. Worked as expected though. No complaints. Im not sure how people are breaking the anchor clip though. Theyre probably tightening it too much. Mine worked just fine. You only need to tighten it until the plate is flush to the wall no more.

Greater than one weekPrevious owners of our house ran two extension cords through the wall behind the mantle. After reading that this was not up to code and a fire hazard, I looked for alternatives. While pricey, this was much cheaper than having an electrician run new wiring. Thanks for an awesome product!

Greater than one weekI used this kit for my on-wall installation of my high definition TV. No wires showing, and took only a 1/2 hour to install as I was being cautious to make sure I can fish the wires through the wall. Looks like a professional installation, but didnt have to pay someone to install. Ideally, it would be allow more wiring to be fished through the box. However, nowadays electronics installation is becoming simpler and with less wiring. Good product.

Greater than one weekGuys. Im not the most handy person out there, but Ive picked up some things from my dad, a 30+ year veteran of the home improvement business (yes, hes an IRL Tim the Tool Man). All I needed was a punch saw to cut out the dry wall and a level to make sure things were even. My basement wall went from looking like a poor attempt to tame Medusa to a slick, nearly cable-free canvas (keyword: nearly). Sure, Ill need to do something with the soundbar (NOT PowerBridges fault; I just didnt properly plan ahead), but this is, by far, the easiest home project Ive undertaken myself without having to call my dad for backup (or just calling him in the first place). If you can read at a 4th grade level, you can do this. I wont bore you with an /r/DIY worthy album, just some nice before and after pictures. Installation took, I dunno, 45 minutes? Super easy and now with this level of confidence Ive been given, Im going to go renovate my kitchen.

> 3 dayNice product and easy to install with the right tools. I have dry wall. I needed to buy a wall fishing wire to install this product since insulation behind my wall kept getting in the way. The wire it comes with is not stiff enough to push through more the a 1 or 2 feet of insulation. I tried for at least 45 minutes to get wires to fish though the wall. I finally broke down and went to my local Lowes and bought a wall fishing wire for $20. Once, I had this i was done in 20 minutes. It really ads the fine finishing touches when mounting a TV on the wall.

Greater than one weekSo far so good. The only issue you might have is with the sheetrock or wall durability. These clip to the wall like the old work boxes F clips. The only other issue I had, is with trying to snake the power cord through even with a fish ribbon tape. If you cant fish from top to bottom, try bottom to top. But so far a solid product once installed.

> 3 dayVery easy DIY in wall installation kit. You just need to find a spot between the wall studs and a drywall saw. You have code compliant electrical cable in an all-in-one kit. You definitely save a lot of money in install costs. You could probably argue that you can get the individual components cheaper. If you know what your doing, than great, do that but be careful. You shouldn’t just run any cable that will carry higher voltage inside of walls and you really want to have the appropriate knowledge to put it all together properly. I highly recommend this product!

> 3 dayI have installed 4 of these so far. Very easy to install. The only complaint I have is that tabs that tighten against the backside of the drywall arent the sturdiest. I have had a few of them break. To fix them, I purchased an old work gang box from Home Depot or Lowes and used a tab from that box to replace it with.

> 3 dayThere are two options and I cant see anyone wanting to go with only 1 outlet. I am currently not using the other outlet, but having it there means I can have the option to include a soundbar or something else. This was installed by a friend and it was really easy to install with minimal mess. Anyone that needs an outlet recessed so they can use a flatscreen or something similar, this is the best. It comes with all of the necessary materials needed to install.
