I used Datacomm with one cable management. Its really well designed for installation. I tried Powerbridge this time because the in-wall plate is smaller and I wanted to hide the management system behind a soundbar. It was perfect in theory. However, theres one really big flaw with Powerbridges installation design. When you screw in the box to the wall, theres an anchor that catches on the drywall from the back. This is how the box stays attached to the wall. If you have installation, the anchor can catch on it and you have to unscrew and screw it back in. Thats what happened to me. The problem was that I unscrewed it all the way and the anchor fell off the screw and to the bottom of the floor behind my drywall. Theres no way I can retrieve that plastic anchor. And no, the Powerbridge box has no wall of attaching to the wall for me. I think this is a major design flaw. If they even just included an extra screw anchor, that would suffice for this mistake. TL:DR Installation design is horrendous. Just go with Datacomm and youll save a lot of time.

This is a great product for hiding the code approved wiring for AC current and low voltage wiring such as audio and HDMI. The product comes with a template for you cut-outs. The top piece have enough wiring to easily reach 6 feet to the bottom where it will attach with a special connector to the bottom bridge piece. The wiring is stiff and is up to code. The issue I had was with the little wings that flip out to hold it securely to the drywall. They are a little flimsy and had a hard time holding the box firmly....now part of this is because I had covered my wall with laminate flooring and I dont think the little wings could get a solid grip....I ended up using an adhesive caulk and glueing them in place. I then just used a fish tape to pull all my low voltage wiring through. I needed a fish tape because in the wall I was using I found out it was full of the bathroom plumbing....pipes and pvc drain etc. All in all, very pleased and would get it again if the need arises.

I wanted to wall mount my TV without cords dangling down. This thing did the trick. I made sure to have the bottom hole a little higher than a normal outlet so I wouldn’t cut the electrical lines in the wall. I also have 3 HDMI cables running through the port. It’s everything I could have asked for and more.

My package we arrived previously opened. Missing the one of the wall clips and screws. And another screw was broken. Immediately called 800 #. Awaiting response to see if this is made right . For $70 at this point its easy to say Im disappointed

I’m amazed at how easy this was to install. I used this to hide 3 HDMI cables and the power cord of my new TV. Watched a few instructional videos and then went from there. Hardest part was dropping the cords through the wall, but even that was a breeze. Highly recommend. Only long term concern would be durability and resistance to surges. Will update over time as needed. Very good product.

This is a nice kit. It looks good and makes a smaller hole in the wall. This is much nicer than the older Powerbridge design. I bought this instead of

This product is fantastic. I have zero experience in wiring or doing any kind of wire pulls and I was done in 25 minutes. Mark the templates on the wall, use a punch drywall saw to cut it out, feed wires and done. The wiring that comes with the product is sturdy enough to run down the wall without fish tape. If you’re doing multiple HDMI cables or RCA cables, use a cheap fish tape to make it that much easier.

So for years I would just drill a hole and fish through the wires like almost everyone else. The power cords are not up to code so you should not do it. This looks great when finished and because you cut a bigger hole it is easier to work with.
