I live in my van, so getting power from outlets to charge my batteries is pretty important. I bought this because at the time I had access to an outlet. It worked as expected. It was a little louder than I wanted, but then again, I am in a VERY small space, and I am in very close proximity in the same space as this, so my experience is going to be a bit skewed as a result. But, given what its job is, and the power levels its dealing with, I cant blame this at all for that. It needs to cool itself. I have since lost the ability to use this as that outlet is no longer accessible to me, but for the time I was able to use this, it worked flawlessly. I plan to use it more in the future.

Wed been having issues with our second WCF 9880. The second WCF had been in for 3 years and in the last year had been spotty in its use. Had to turn off the power several times and reset the WCF. Read any number of great reviews about the Powermax. Bought one, changed it out for the WCF 9880. Wow - right out the box it just works! Started off at 14.4 volts to take up the slack for the WCF, after about 2 hours dropped back to 13.6. Looking for the 13.2. Some other reviewers stated it was noisy - not for us. Fairly quiet. Fingers crossed it lasts for more than 2 years.

Installed the converter in June of 2021, stopped working in September 2022. Luckily I was on a local camping trip where I could return home and pick up a battery charger and return to the campground and charge my batteries up enough to get the landing gear retracted. When I got home I did some troubleshooting and tried to find warranty information on Amazon and couldn’t find any so the top of the converter came off and I discovered a blown fuse on the circuit board that was soldered in. Bypassing the fuse with some alligator clips resulted in a blown capacitor. So it buying a new converter for me. Not happy with this one only lasting 15 months. Lucky it happened to me on a local trip and not my wife on one of her boon docking horse camp outs. When it worked it was great but reliability is very poor.

Installed in my toy hualer works great. Definitely a upgrade from the old one.

Old one wouldnt charge battery below 40. This one does the job, no issues. Happy with product.

I watched many RV YouTube videos to research for a replacement for the converter for my RV after the factory one quit. I think this converter will maximize may deep cycle battery life because of the 3 stage charge rate.
