This antenna was the answer I needed for mounting a CB antenna on a newer SUV. The appearance is clean - not gawdy or obtrusive. The magnet is strong, and the antenna angle is somewhat adjustable. The antenna comes pre-tuned, which I confirmed with a SWR meter. This is a great option for a magnetic mount CB antenna!

I bought this antenna for my pickup truck and i cant believe how well it works. I used to have a 102 inch whip years ago on my vehicle and decided to get a radio for my new pickup and i was very impressed with it. Low noise high gain and low SWR all this from this small antenna. I Highly Recommend this antenna to anyone that needs a good performing CB antenna. Its got low SWR from 26.5 to 28.5

The photo with the range of motion is not true at all. The antenna can be angled forward and backward app. the same, 20-25 degrees from vertical direction, thus the range of motion is at best 45 degrees total, not 100 degrees as in the schematics! It cannot lay flat against your roof in any direction. Look at the photos closely, they actually are accurate, there is a plastic ridge on both ends, these limit the motion in both directions... I have a low garage entrance and the ability to lower the antenna flat was important for me.

I got this antenna for a Mazda 3. My wife didn’t like how the Wilson looked on top. Put it on top and hooked it up to Ronald and easy as that it was a 1.0, 1.3, 1.0. I don’t think you can ask for more than that. Did a radio check which I figured would be pointless from my driveway because I live in the boonies and to my surprise I got a load and clear response. The part I wasn’t happy about was UPS shipping. Took 3 days of being out for delivery till they finally decided to drop it off. I wish Amazon gave the option to choose shipping or filter out UPS shippers. Overall was worth the wait because it works far better than I had anticipated.

Understandably I was disappointed upon opening the package and saw that the rubber footing/pad thats supposed to protect your vehicle was ripped right out of the box. It looked as if it was repackaged and then resent out to a new buyer...Unfortunately, that new buyer is yours truly. The device still works however and is simple to use but now Im worried its going to scratch my 2013 Cadillac CTS Coupe...And that I can not have. ...Guess I wont be using this antenna anytime soon until I figure out a way to keep it from scratching my vehicles paint.

The magnet on the mount is very powerful, will not slide off. Reception and range is good. About 4 miles max with favorable conditions. I used it on my 4 wheeler, and liked it so much, that I bought one for my semi tractor day cab truck. The cable is long enough to go from the roof of the day cab ( mounted on the metal bracket behind the cab. ) to the dash, via the driver side window lining. I paired it to a cobra 19. Works great.

Bought this for my bro-in-law for Christmas 2021. (Too bad that I cant seem to get one for 2022.) It was pretty much plug & play and worked about as well as those old 20 Center-Load CB antennas of over 30 years ago. However, that very light-duty, flimsy, RG-174 coax cable will have to be dealt with sooner, or later. Do not do hard 90 degree bends, if you can help it. Best, to wrap plastic tape where coax comes into rear of PL-259 connector and where the coax comes-in at the base of the magnet mount antenna, as a stress relief. Still, for what it is, from 1 to 10 miles between mobiles, and about 15 miles from base to mobile, isnt too bad at all.
