> 3 dayThe magnet on the mount is very powerful, will not slide off. Reception and range is good. About 4 miles max with favorable conditions. I used it on my 4 wheeler, and liked it so much, that I bought one for my semi tractor day cab truck. The cable is long enough to go from the roof of the day cab ( mounted on the metal bracket behind the cab. ) to the dash, via the driver side window lining. I paired it to a cobra 19. Works great.

Greater than one weekEasy to install with a very low SWR that doesnt require a lot of work to get low. Its 1.1 for me out of the box and placed in the center of my Toyota Sienna van. Great reception on the President Randy! I hear stations from hundreds of miles away on the DX but Im still in the mud to anyone beyond 5 miles line of sight or so. Recommend using an RM KL203P amp and the President McKinley with this antenna to get out a little better. Great starter antenna for people who dont really want to be adjusting for SWR all the time. About as plug and play as you can get for a magmount.

Greater than one weekThe cord was too short to mount at the rear roof of my SUV, so I had to order a PL-259 Male to SO-239 Female cord to wire up the CB at the front. SWR at Ch 1 is around 1, 1.5 at Ch 40, and around 1 at Ch 19. Connections at PL259/SO239 are snug without issues. Receive seems good so far, but very condition dependent. I ran my usual course in the city where I do my GMRS tests and got the typical 1/2 mile to 1 mile range Ive read from other reviews. Ill reserve judgment on range until after I get some interstate miles on this one. I mounted the antenna at the back right corner of my Jeep Liberty. The magnet is very strong and can be difficult to remove, but thats a good thing. I was worried about how loose the antenna might be at the swivel point, but there are rigid lock points that hopefully wont wear out over time. The height should be fine, but I am going to watch it around low limbs and parking garages. Im satisfied so far, except for the cable length issue.

> 3 dayI was looking for an antenna that didn’t look out of place on my equinox. This antenna doesn’t draw attention and gets descent reception
