> 3 dayI figured, “60 bucks and it’s a President, has to be good right?” Wrong. It was, so I thought, exactly what I was looking for. Stealth and modern looking. That’s pretty much where it ends. Says it’s pre-tuned for low swrs. Nope 2.3:1 isn’t all that low. Can’t tune it. The coax is the equivalent of 14 gauge wire. The noise floor was 7 pounds on the meter with the car off. Doesn’t fold flat like one review had said, but I expected that. Had I known this is what it was like, I would’ve just bought the Procomm Rubber ducky for 1/3 the price! Shame President, shame! I will be retuning it.

> 3 dayInitially I was disappointed due to a too short coax when trying to install in my crew cab pickup with the antenna mounted center rear of the roof. I bought a 10 extension, which was too long, figuring the SWR would be terrible. For whatever reason the SWR just would not work so I tried a few radio check calls and was getting out a couple of miles with clear signal all the way. Pres Bill radio. I am happy.

Greater than one weekIm only giving 5 stars because it is exactly what it says it is, and does exactly what it says it will do. Its a good working antenna. Its not the best one ever made, but anyone looking for a cosmetically pleasing and good working antenna, this is it. There is no tuning available on this but overall as low swr. It makes it quick to install and get you transmitting.

> 3 dayThe cord was too short to mount at the rear roof of my SUV, so I had to order a PL-259 Male to SO-239 Female cord to wire up the CB at the front. SWR at Ch 1 is around 1, 1.5 at Ch 40, and around 1 at Ch 19. Connections at PL259/SO239 are snug without issues. Receive seems good so far, but very condition dependent. I ran my usual course in the city where I do my GMRS tests and got the typical 1/2 mile to 1 mile range Ive read from other reviews. Ill reserve judgment on range until after I get some interstate miles on this one. I mounted the antenna at the back right corner of my Jeep Liberty. The magnet is very strong and can be difficult to remove, but thats a good thing. I was worried about how loose the antenna might be at the swivel point, but there are rigid lock points that hopefully wont wear out over time. The height should be fine, but I am going to watch it around low limbs and parking garages. Im satisfied so far, except for the cable length issue.

> 3 dayStrong magnet. Looks like a antenna on a new car. Range isn’t bad for what it is. Swr is exactly what they claim. Very happy with it. If you’re looking for a modern looking antenna for your car or suv instead of a whip, this will fit the bill.

> 3 dayThis antenna was the answer I needed for mounting a CB antenna on a newer SUV. The appearance is clean - not gawdy or obtrusive. The magnet is strong, and the antenna angle is somewhat adjustable. The antenna comes pre-tuned, which I confirmed with a SWR meter. This is a great option for a magnetic mount CB antenna!
