This was easy to install, just slip over the 1-1/2 discharge pipe. My old check valve was chattering when the pump shut off. This valve closes quietly and does not chatter. My pump is quiet now. Problem solved easily and for a reasonable cost. I would buy this again.

My 35 years old well pump and plumbing has seen many component replacements. My most troublesome component has been the check-valve. Up until now I had used brass valves with spring loaded axial shutoffs and each one had a disappointing short useful life. This valve has a flapper shutoff which I truly believe will outlast all the others. Time will tell, of course, but this design is simple, old, and proven. The installation was a breeze and the buna-n rubber couplings did not leak one drop.

Amazing! Bought the cheap one from home depot and this one is so much better for only a little more. No loud hammering, no sound at all!

It was easy to install since valve itself has a flange to connect rubber band. In my case it had to go a little crooked since PVC was not installed absolutely vertically and it flexes enough to accommodate. So far so good!

Tired of the cheap builder grade hammering loud check valve and bought this gem. Wish I knew this company was local and I would stop by and just bought it. Excellent valve and 100% quiet
