Zinc is just 1 of the many nutrients that I use to help my immune system and to aid in reducing my inflammatory level. I have used many items under the pure encapsulations label as I find that they do not include many of the fillers that are a part of many other products

Product is what it says it is. Reasonable price

I bought this for my German Shepherd who got hot spots. I knew that zinc was important for the skin. After a week of taking this her fur came back in and all hot spots healed up nicely. I do have to tell you that at the time I also started giving her Carlson Lab fish oil and Pure Encapsulations Vitamin A & E, along with Integrative Therapeutics Active B Complex and Natures Sunshine Magnesium Complex. Even though I started all the other products at the same time, I still felt that the zinc was key, in part due to a spray product from years back that helped my other German Shepherd. Zinc was that other products key ingredient.

No Flavor easy to swallow takes time to work

I heard ADD & ADHD people often have copper overload and since ceruplasmin is rarely tested in patients without a family history of Wilsons disease an imbalance could easily go undetected. Vegetarian diets tend to be heavy in copper and lower in bioavailable zinc... since Cu & Zn compete for absorption this tends to lead to a Cu excess & Zn deficiency. I started taking this after hearing and reading about the Walsh Protocol and I believe it has made a vast improvement in my ADD and helped to keep. yeast infections at bay.

This seems to work well for me. On my second bottle and I think it helps along with vitamin c to keep away the ick.

Zinc supplements can be found at less expensive prices, but I prefer to choose a well-regarded brand. Some mineral supplement products from unknown brands may cause or aggravate conditions such as acid reflux. This zinc product is in capsule form, which I prefer for the ease of swallowing. I have not experienced any side effects from this product.
