> 24 hourMy original hood struts never worked this good. Single finger to get it up and need some actual pressure down to close it. Replaced mine in my 2009 MDX after 11 years on the original that had signs of death as early as 5 years ago. At this price it was a no brainer (~$22).

> 24 hourAwesome under the front hood on 2012 Acura MDX. My wife thought I boke the back hatch since the door would intermittently not stay up. When under the front hood, the same thing started happening. Diagnosis - the original struts had just worn out on both the back (hatch) and front (hood). So I replaced struts under both for less money than the dealership charges for a tire rotation and oil change! Very easy to swap out and has worked perfectly since.

> 24 hourSo sick of using 2x4 or vice grips to hold the freakin hood up. Quick fix, no problems, made me happy until I moved on to next irritant on the ol MDX.

> 24 hourI bought a pair of these hood struts for my Acura MDX. These struts fit perfectly, were easy to replace and just one of them was strong enough to keep the hood open! Most importantly, a pair of these struts were about $22, Acura was charging about $40 for ONE strut, so in total, a savings of about $60 if you use these struts. It is worth your hard earned money to consider these struts if you need replacement struts for your MDX.

> 24 hourDirect replacement of my worn +9 year old hood struts on my 11 MDX. Just need a small flat tip screw driver to pop up the metal clips of either end of the hood struts to remove the old and replace with new. Also, double-check to ensure the larger tube is screwed on properly to the bottom threads. Both replacements were a little loose.
