> 3 dayThese great replacements for 13 year hold hood lift supports. The lift supports can open up a little aggressively. Like these dont soft open towards the top. I would imagine that these supports will soften up over time. Regardless of a very minor complaint. I rather have this than the hood slam on my head or hands.

> 3 dayThesse are decent replacements for my OEM hood struts for my Acura MDX 2008. These are noticeably noisier than the OEM and are not as smooth. They are half the price of a single OEM strut and do the job for my car. When removing the original struts you pop a flathead screwdriver between the metal clip and pry it away from the strut or pop the clip completely off of the end of the strut. Have someone help support the hood or it will drop on your head. You should clean and lube the ball joints before popping on the replacement strut.took less than 5 minutes to replace.

> 3 dayIts a fraction of the price and fits my MDX perfect. I only needed 1 tool (a flathead screwdriver) to take the old struts off. Then these popped in place. However, it is a bit noisy (it squeaks/squeals) and isnt as smooth when lifting my hood but it works. Then again, I really dont have my hood open unless Im doing some work to my car. The most important thing is that my hood doesnt drop on my head anymore!

> 3 dayOMG I love these hood struts...... I contacted my local Acura dealer and they tried to charge me $120 to fix my hood struts. Amazon $22 and it literally took me 1 minute to replace them both....... As always thank you for Amazon for saving me a hundred bucks LOL. Amazon is the greatest for a reason

> 3 dayPay Acura $180 to replace these, are you kidding me? These literally take less than five minutes to replace. You need something to prop your hood up and a flat head screwdriver. Honestly I don’t think most people would even need to look at instructions to figure out how are you connect to these. There is a little ball pivot joint that these clamp onto and it’s laughably easy to do yourself. For the love of all things good do not pay dealership to replace these for you!

Greater than one weekThese replaced the OEM equipment on my 2009 MDX. Installation took less than 3 minutes per side and they work great!

> 3 dayEasy to install and they seem to function properly. There are less expensive options, but several more expensive options also. I think these check all the boxes at the right price point. Good buy if you need them!
