I was searching for a solution to my NVMe running hot even at idle, my ASUS MB has a heatsink but it doesnt seem to do anything other than look pretty. While benchmarking the drive would exceed 70 C. Immediately after installing this heatsink, I ran the same benchmark and the drive is now at 50 C. I followed that up with another purchase as I will install this on my other NVMe drive as well. FWIW, there was no way my case had any heat spots, I run 6x intake fans in push/pull across a front mounted radiator and 3x exhaust fans (2x 140mm and 1x 120mm). I even ran the fans at higher speeds as a test, it didnt make much difference. TLDR: buy this if you want to reduce your temps by 10+ C.

Super easy installation and fits perfectly inside the hub on ps5 for m.2 expansion. My personal bought ssd I used was the WD SN850 2TB nvme pcie gen4 x4 m.2 ssd. It fit like a glove.

Dropped my 2TB M.2 drive by 10 full degrees (plus) centigrade at idle. Excellent 25% temperature improvement. Breeze to install. Medium length (what I needed) and a couple of minutes to install. Hard to beat for under 10 bucks.

When at max load my Samsung pro was running at 62-65 degrees. With this heat sink, it’s at max 52. For the price, it’s crazy good. 10 degree drop for the price is an amazing deal.

I used this to add a heatsink to a M.2 drive on a cheap motherboard that had no heatsinks for the drives. The instructions were sparse! Just a picture of where everything went, and a newbie might have puzzled over it (and not remove the pads plastic sides), but I had no problem with the install. I appreciated that it came with an extra thermal pad and screws for the motherboard (just in case). It seems well made, and everything (like screw holes) lined up as they should. Does it keep the drive cooler? As I didnt measure the temp before the install, I cant tell. But it does give me at least some peace of mind that the drive is probably less likely to throttle down when used heavily.

The item is well made and the nvme ssd fits perfectly. Nice touches include screw driver, extra screw and thermal silicone pad. Does the job of cooling very well. SSD temperatures control is excellent, from 38 C (101F) at idle to not more than 47 C (116F) at full load working transfer 400GB+ and benchmarking.

Works well and fits into the PS5 perfectly. Easy to pair with an SSD and comes with everything you need. It helps reduce the temp quite a bit. Ive been running it for about a month and Im happy with the purchase.

For some one that has the disc Ps5 and not a game junky this is the right size for you.

It is easy to install on your NVME drive and looks good in the system. I did put a little clamping force on it in a padded hobby vice to squish the pads a bit, it made holding the 2 halves together while putting the screws in easier.
