> 3 dayI was a skeptical buyer but I have seen proof it works. Dropped my M2 temp an average of 9 degrees. As for install I had to trim a small bit off one end of adhesive pads because they are too long and would interfere with the screw that attaches M2 to mobo. Fit was snug on one M2 because it already had thin heat dispersion plate attached. Solution was to start with the middle screws first. Ease those screws on a bit and try to apply equal pressure on left and right side. Do the same for remaining screws. Lastly, it seems multiple manufacturers are producing this item in various colors. They are all the same. I know because I bought this one and another from a different manufacturer. Exactly the same including box. Shop for best price and pay attention to design to make sure you’re getting same product but maybe in a different color.

> 3 dayThis a two-piece, solid aluminium heatsink designed to fit a single or double sided m.2 2280 drive. The outer shell of the assembly has vertical slots on each side, and the inner heatsink assembly has the mounting screw holes. This allows you to use an m.2 drive of any thickness with the heatsink, and then secure it with three screws on each side. They also include three pieces of silicon grease thermal tape (though you only need two for installation). Just be sure to remove the clear pastic protector sheet from BOTH sides of the thermal tape, or youll impair its preformance.

> 3 dayWhy put so long thermal pads? I had to cut them to fit on ssd.

> 3 dayLots of long, thin fins, and nothing fancy; thats what I like to see in my heat sinks. Others try too hard with their massive fins that dont add much benefit. This little fella gets it right.

> 3 dayDefinitely get a slightly cooler temperature but only by about one degree. So it doesnt actually operate as advertise or intended. More than likely I would recommend going with a more expensive name brand to make sure you are actually getting exactly what they advertised that it will do

Greater than one weekMy 970 evo nvme drive was averaging 80c under load. With this heatsink, the controller temp dropped down to 65c under load and low 40s during light operations.

Greater than one weekGiven the price, I had fairly low expectations. However, the heatsink reduced the temperatures on my WD SN850 from 85C to 61C when running CrystalDiskMark, and the 85C would have been higher if the SSD hadnt throttled at that temperature. The installation was easy, but I didnt install the bottom thermal pad since my 1 TB drive didnt have any chips on the bottom. Overall, great value for the money.

> 3 dayWhen at max load my Samsung pro was running at 62-65 degrees. With this heat sink, it’s at max 52. For the price, it’s crazy good. 10 degree drop for the price is an amazing deal.

18-04-2025Im using this heatsink with my 2TB WD SN850 and it is a perfect fit. It’s nicely built and I’ve had no issues with it at all. Installation was very easy. Kit comes with 3 thermal strips a screwdriver and all the screws needed to put everything together.
