Good for the money! I bought this heatsync for the Samsung 980 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD 2TB, the ssd fit as should and the thermal pads went on as should. It was easy to put together and install in the PS5. This will fit your PS5!

Easy to install. Fits the PS5 and it does its job. Comes with heat transfer strips and I think even a screwdriver. Dont remember if it came in there... Not much needed to be said.

First off Ill say build quality on this is really nice, it is I believe aluminum but doesnt feel super light and cheap like you might think. There are 6 screws securing the heatsink to the M.2 drive itself with a 7th screw to screw the M.2 drive in as normal. I had no problem fitting this in the slot but Id say if this were under a graphics card or something just make sure you have the space for it, though it isnt tall at all.

I was searching for a solution to my NVMe running hot even at idle, my ASUS MB has a heatsink but it doesnt seem to do anything other than look pretty. While benchmarking the drive would exceed 70 C. Immediately after installing this heatsink, I ran the same benchmark and the drive is now at 50 C. I followed that up with another purchase as I will install this on my other NVMe drive as well. FWIW, there was no way my case had any heat spots, I run 6x intake fans in push/pull across a front mounted radiator and 3x exhaust fans (2x 140mm and 1x 120mm). I even ran the fans at higher speeds as a test, it didnt make much difference. TLDR: buy this if you want to reduce your temps by 10+ C.

Came with everything you would need (even a small screwdriver). Nice they also include spares (screws and heat pad). Quality seems to be pretty decent. Easy to install.

This unit came with everything needed to add a heatsink to a M.2 SSD for the PS5 including a #1 phillips screwdriver which came in handy for a couple screws in the PS5 itself. In a nutshell, you start with the bottom tray, then lay in a silicon pad (no thermal compound needed), then your SSD, then another silicon pad, then finish with the top heatsink and secure with 6 screws along the sides. That whole unit then perfectly slides into the PS5 per their instructions. Mine had an extra silicon pad and and extra screw just in case. Very nice!

Very easy to install, lowered temps by 20c. My M.2 slot on my motherboard is right above my GPU, so not great without a heatsink. The extra silicone strip is nice, too, in case I want to use it on something else.

Installed this on my Samsung 980 to install in the PS5 and it was a breeze! Definitely a great investment to increase the life span of your SSD!
