> 3 dayWould have gave it a 5 star but you really need to crank the side screws or else plugging the drive in the m.2 socket can cause the top section to budge and push the drive forward a bit. Quick fix and better than crushing down on the drive itself a I guess. Works best if you can get airflow through the fin stack.

> 3 daySmall profile. Able to fit into the PS5 NVME expansion bay. That is important. Also I did purchase an additional one for my PC. Works wonders. Temp drop so much.

> 3 dayThis unit came with everything needed to add a heatsink to a M.2 SSD for the PS5 including a #1 phillips screwdriver which came in handy for a couple screws in the PS5 itself. In a nutshell, you start with the bottom tray, then lay in a silicon pad (no thermal compound needed), then your SSD, then another silicon pad, then finish with the top heatsink and secure with 6 screws along the sides. That whole unit then perfectly slides into the PS5 per their instructions. Mine had an extra silicon pad and and extra screw just in case. Very nice!

> 3 dayI bought this thermal case to use on the SAMSUNG M.2 NVME 980 PRO SSD for the PS5. Many people note that his case is usable with the PS5. The case is barely usable in the SSD slot. The reason why is because the thermal pad is too thick. One of the thermal pad needs to be thinner than the thermal pads included in this item. Be careful squeezing the metal case too hard because you could damage the SSD even with the thermal pads on. The metal case becomes too tall (high) for the PS5 SSD metal cover to slide back into the inner groove it (used to keep it from popping off). This is important because the PS5 uses this seal to create a negative vacuum pressure in the SSD chamber. This negative air pressure is what helps to pull the heat out of the SSD chamber. Without the seal, the SSD can possibly get hot without proper airflow. I semi-fixed this issue by bending the small metal lip (on the SSD cover case) to a 90 degree angle which allowed me to pop the SSD cover case back on without sliding the cover case back into the inner groove. It appears to be sealed but I do not honestly know if the seal is effective. I guess Ill find out. If you dont want to risk it, buy alternate thinner thermal pads. Preferably .5mm thick thermal pads. I probably will do so in the very near future.

> 3 dayPerfecto para el PS5: con sus 3 almohadillas térmicas, se ajusta bien a a la consola sin necesidad de forzarla, incluso al tener cierta cercanía con la cubierta de la consola intuyó que ayuda a la disipación de calor de manera mas eficiente.
