> 24 hourGood solid small part station. Heavy base, sturdy arms, string magnets. Ive been arguing with the little ones for years. I got this, started a project, and just kept repositioning the board, playing with it.

> 24 hourOriginally I was very hesitant to spend this amount of money on a third-arm style soldering helper... However the owner/inventor seems to have thought of everything. Included are sticker protectors to put under the arm magnets and silicone soft covers for the jaws to protect sensitive items. The base is perfect in terms of its weight in my opinion, but I generally only use it for electronics and nothing too large. One of the few products I go out of my way to review because the quality was so high.

> 24 hourThis is amazing. I use it almost everyday. I am sort of new to soldering jewelry and this has been so helpful in positioning and holding small findings or rings Im soldering. It very sturdy and well made. Cant think of anything I would change about it.

> 24 hourI bought this because I wanted to buy American and all the reviews said it was such high quality. Well, it is. I mean like seriously almost over kill. Super heavy, super sturdy. Over the top quality.

> 24 hourThese QuadHands tools are the best quality and most effective helping hands configurations that I have tried. The plastic arm versions wear out too quickly and the cheap metal configurations are not very adjustable and frustrating to work with. A friend of mine saw this on my workbench and immediately ordered one as well. I like the version with the rectangular base for the extra weight but if you have a small desk it might be good to have the X-shaped design. The biggest issue with the rectangular one is that the magnets on the arms tend to make things stick to them when set on the platform. Also, I left the foam pads off the bottoms of the long arms since more leverage can be applied to them and they need maximum holding power; the foam pads on the short arms decrease the holding power a bit but not too much since theyre short.

> 24 hourThe QuadHands Workbench is so much more versatile and stable than the old style helping hand tool (that just about everyone hates but owns). The heavy-duty base makes tipping near impossible and the flexible arms are nimble but also stay in position once your work is clipped in. The covers on the alligator clips are nice and thick, too. No marks left on your work like with shrink tube covers. The price seemed a bit high until I saw these are made in the USA. Helping support businesses in places like Charleston, South Carolina means helping a family eat, or a mortgage get paid. If their employees are single, I hope their paycheck helps gets them laid.
