Pros: Solid Base, great strength in the magnets and the alligator clips are decent quality. Cons: The arms arent great. They dont bend well, and its hard to get the items its clamping down to stay in place.

Wow, glad to finally have something to hold things still while I solder! The magnets hold firm to anything metal. I place them in various orientations on metal shelving, or even on the engine compartment of my truck while I solder in some battery tender wires. Looking forward to many years of use.

Exactly what I needed. After going through dozens of the cheap little helping hands things, this is a welcome upgrade. If you do any kind of close work or electronics soldering, or anything where you feel like youre running out of hands, just get it. Its better than youre imagining even.

I have owned about four different kinds of helping hands soldering tools. This one is by far the most useful and the most flexible. I think if it had a led magnifying glass it would be flawless. I mounted a magnet bar alongside my workbench and store this device along with its arms in a convenient spot. Two thumbs up!

Very useful device. Well built except for the use of standard alligator clips for the tips of the arms which are covered by rubber tubing to prevent marring of items. While this solution works, it is flimsy and may not last long.

This is really an outstanding product. Its heavy in weight and the quad hands are of good quality. I used this for the first time on 8/20 to solder a battery cable back onto my Hubsan Drone. Im sure down the line Ill probably have an epic Drone crash of some sort, so this will come in handy.

This is an awesome idea and a great help for anyone doing soldering or craft work!
