It seems sturdy enough and well made, I have only used it once. But I assume it will last a while

I use this when taking extreme closeup fotos of very tiny plants. Being able to hold them in the position I need for the best angle to the sun is wonderful when I am in the field. After collecting and If the wind is not blowing too hard, I will stick one of the longer magnet wands on my truck roof or hood and then position the plant. If the wind IS blowing, I will use two of the magnetic clip wands to hold things in place. Only thing Id change is the glue that holds the plastic over the magnets at the base of the flex wands. We had some super hot days recently it caused the glue to soften & the cover kept slipping off. I solved the problem by tying a piece of fabric over it so as to not scratch my truck paint. In all other respects this QuadHands workbench w/magnet flex arm system IS WONDERFUL!!! and well made and the magnets are super strong.

Love it. Heavy base stays in place, the magnets that hold arms are super strong, the hands are sturdy.

It seems pretty stable. I was fixing my headphones with it. I like that it holds it for me so I dont have to have 2 different things in my hands at once. I just feel better when I am soldering.

Been needing one of these and now I have one. This one is awesome. The magnets are strong and the arms are nice and flexible. Will do wonderfully for circuit board soldering.

The Quad-Hands is nice and solid, and delivers what it promises. It makes working on small projects (electronics, arts, etc.) a little easier by holding things steady and at custom positions, so you can use your human hands to do more. Looking forward to adding more tentacles.

The base is heavy enough that it doesnt tip and the arms can be positioned exactly as needed for soldering.
