> 3 dayI was very skeptical about the narrow-wide concept, and although it made sense, I had my doubts that it would make a significant difference. I ride aggressively on very rough Austin trails, and despite various chain guides and tensioning devices, still managed to drop chains relatively frequently. I needed a new chainring though, so I decided to give this a try... and glad I did. I no longer run any guides or tensioners, and Im sold. The only downside though is that they are sensitive to chain wear; that is not to say that the chain wears faster, but that once it reaches a certain point in wear, it will begin to drop again in extreme circumstances... I can no longer let chains go until they start having shifting problems and skipping cogs... something I shouldnt do anyway.

> 3 dayVery durable for aluminium. This ring has lasted longer and kept its teeth shape way longer than other rings I have used. Very few dropped chains in many miles of hard riding.

> 3 dayA good looking chainring that does what it claims. Ive been using this on my mountain bike for a few months now its performed flawlessly. Chain stays on. I do use a clutch xtr derailleur.

> 3 dayI love this ring. I use a Sram X0 Type 2 rear derailleur with no chain guide in the front and It works great. I have not dropped a chain at all with this chain ring. My drive train is nice and quiet. I would buy it again.
