> 3 dayBought this for my husband in 2013. Still doing its job so I cant complain. He loves the lime green since its his favorite color. It fits nicely onto his Giant mountain bike and he is very pleased with its quality.

> 3 dayI had this ring on my bike in a fixed gear application for about 8 months or so before it exploded on me. In retrospect, using it in this capacity was probably not too bright; it is really lightweight and seems to be intended for a 1x setup in which there would be less torque applied. When it failed on me, I was applying back pressure on my pedals to slow my descent down a steep hill. The drivetrain creaked and squeaked, and then the chain ring literally blew into pieces. Im giving it three stars because it seemed really well engineered and performed well under intense pressure right up until it failed catastrophically. I imagine that most people would want this for a 1x drivetrain, and I think it would be perfect in that application. However, Race Face should make it more explicitly clear that it isnt suitable for fixed gear-level torque. I now use a heavier stainless steel chain ring and feel much more confident about it.

> 3 dayReplaced the stock 32t chainring on my Fast Ripper with the 36t Raceface. It works great. More speed for sure. Best upgrade Ive made for sure.

> 3 dayIve run this ring for around 100 miles, and have thrown the chain once. Ive done that with a mrp chain keeper thingy, so this ring is really well-designed.

> 3 dayMy intentions when I bought this chain ring was to negate the need for a chain guide up front after going 1X10. I was told by having a Type II Clutch rear derailleur along with this chain ring I would be able to do this. So far.... this has been a correct solution. I havent dropped my chain one time. I also get the benefit of a lot less noise with the type II derailleur. Overall, I would say I am very please with this combination and I would recommend this product to another.

> 3 dayCouldnt be happier with my new 1x10 Race Face setup. I have this paired with a SRAM X7 (NON-clutch/type 2), and havent had a single drop. After resizing the chain (dropped about 4 links), you will surely notice how snug the narrow/wide chainring fits. I purchased the Origin8 (steel) bolts, and some blue locktite to complete the install. Make sure you spend the extra $3 on marine grease to re-lube your cranks and bearings. Also, keep in mind, a regular 8mm (or whatever size you need) allen key may not provide enough torque to loosen the crank bolt. A $3 8mm allen key ratchet adapter from HD did the trick.
