RaceFace 104mm Single Chain Ring

Works great. Stopped my chain drop after going to a 1X set up.

solved the problem of the chain coming off, no need for the chain guide anymore either.

i have a 2012 trek x-cal running 1x10, 36 up front and 11-36 in the back. I even have a long cage and non-clutched derailleur and havent dropped the chain once. i was skeptical at first but after looking it up and talking to other bikers i wanted to try it, i will have a hard time going back because i only ever used one ring up front.

Changed my 3x9 to a 1x9 and this raceface chainring is exactly what I needed. I went with the 32t chainring and it is a perfect combination for me. I only dropped the chain one time riding some pretty rough terrain. Decided to take a couple links out of my chain and have not dropped the chain since. Very pleased with my decision to go with raceface and for the price I couldnt go wrong. The only thing I had to do is get shorter chainring nuts to secure it properly but other than that. GREAT PRODUCT!

Have ridden this about a dozen times both rigid and with front suspension. Ive never dropped a chain. Rear derailleur is a regular xt shadow, not a clutch. The trails I rode on are pretty mellow, but there have some slow and fast rocky downhills, a few drop offs and small jumps. None of these cause any chain drop. The 30T is nice because it lets me run a 12-34 9-speed in the back. Also, the natural offset of the 30T tooth causes better chain alignment. Pretty happy with this.

Save money by running a 1x10 set up. I combine mine with wolf components cassette adapter for 1x11. Seems to be built tough and light.
