Worked well, was easy to install and I tapped into the power outlet fuse easily on my Genesis G80.

I suspect I could have done this much more quickly if my fusebox was not located in Iceland. Instructions helpful but pay special attention to the proper fuse outlet

Unfortunately once fuseTap is connected in the fuse box, cover cant be closed. This is something thats missing from all reviews, but it needs to be noted.

Best kit Ive used of many. with a longer cord than most, the plastic trim tool, and all the fuse pieces.

I tried using this on my escort radar but straight out of the box it did not work. I then tried to troubleshoot the issue and while taking the kit apart one of the fuse connectors ripped off. I haven’t had that issue with any sort of fuse so I’m guessing it was because it’s a no name brand. I recommend spending the extra couple bucks on a name brand or at least more known brand connector.

This is a fantastic wiring kit. I got a kit a couple years ago and it was terrible with soldering needed and the wire was too short. This wire is plenty long, there’s several different quick connect attachments making install a breeze. This was wonderful. I highly recommend this kit for anyone with a Uniden R1!

I have had two of these and both of them have shorted right at the RJ45 connector and now im out of the return window. Avoid this product.

This kit exactly fit my needs to hardwire my Uniden R1 radar detector. Love the fact it comes with multiple fuse tap sizes as my Audi Q5 uses not standard and mini fues. Everything is easy to figure out and just works. Zero complaints.

Exactly as described. This was my first attempt at installing a mounted detector myself. Finished in under 20 minutes, works great, and looks as good as if I had hired a shop to put it in. The kit has multiple fuse box connectors including one that works perfectly on a 2020 Ford Mustang. Nice.
