This kit ended up working out perfect for me. I was hardwiring a Uniden R8 into a 2009 Mercedes C Class, and while I normally use a fuse box in the cabin, I couldnt find any switched fuses nearby. Instead, I ran along the headliner to the trunk and used the rear fuse box. The wire length ended up being perfect for what I needed, and the fuse selection was appreciated!

I used it in my Ford Edge Sport, connected to my power supply fuse box, key switch and routed it behind the trim up to windshield mount next to the rear view mirror.. All hidden wires. Plenty amount of wire etc provided.

If youre looking to use tgis on a Uniden R3 AVOID ! The rj11 connector doesnt fit right and the unit will power off if you jiggle the wire or hit a pot hole. Look elsewhere!

I was looking forward in having this work for my Blackvue dashcam. The reason I chose this one instead of the other kits on here is because of the 90° connection cable. This is important, as once the cable is installed, the cable runs closely to the unit, allowing it to be discretely hidden on the windshield. When I received the delivery, I noticed the cable is linear and not a 90° connector as described in the ad. Now the cable will stick out further from the camera and allowing the wire to be fully exposed. I sent this back for a return. Should have stuck with my initial gut instinct

Exactly as described. This was my first attempt at installing a mounted detector myself. Finished in under 20 minutes, works great, and looks as good as if I had hired a shop to put it in. The kit has multiple fuse box connectors including one that works perfectly on a 2020 Ford Mustang. Nice.
