This kit exactly fit my needs to hardwire my Uniden R1 radar detector. Love the fact it comes with multiple fuse tap sizes as my Audi Q5 uses not standard and mini fues. Everything is easy to figure out and just works. Zero complaints.

This product was easy to install. The wire was more than long enough for my car and reached all the way to my rear view mirror for a nice and clean set up. Highly would recommend this set up if you don’t want your car battery to drain and want to keep your cigarette lighter port free of plugs. Just make sure this is the right connector for your radar.

A must have to clean up the look inside your vehicle, no wire coils dangling all over if its done right almost all wires are hidden. A clean look.

At first I didnt think that this would work in my Escalade. But after finding the right fuse to attach it to it works perfectly. We use the heated steering wheel fuse. The little tools that come with it make it easy to tuck the wire out of sight. Now I dont have to pay someone $100 to install it for me.

Installed as expected. Worked great. Even lasted through my uniden r7s suction cup detaching and the whole assembly hanging by the rj11 wire alone. By the 3rd or 5th time my uniden un-suctioned, however, the rj11 had enough. Ground wire break somewhere inside the connector (verified with multi meter). So. Dont be lazy. Un plug/remove your uniden when you park!

I used this to hard wire my radar detector and it worked great. I didnt want to tap into the hot wire behind my rear view mirror so I used this kit and ran the wire down to my fuse box with no problems. I tapped into the 10 amp fuse in the lower right hand corner of the fuse box which is located under the steering wheel. you can hide the wire in the headliner above the drivers head and then down the A pillar. Everything I needed was included in this kit.
