> 3 dayExactly as described. This was my first attempt at installing a mounted detector myself. Finished in under 20 minutes, works great, and looks as good as if I had hired a shop to put it in. The kit has multiple fuse box connectors including one that works perfectly on a 2020 Ford Mustang. Nice.

Greater than one weekThis is a fantastic wiring kit. I got a kit a couple years ago and it was terrible with soldering needed and the wire was too short. This wire is plenty long, there’s several different quick connect attachments making install a breeze. This was wonderful. I highly recommend this kit for anyone with a Uniden R1!

> 3 dayInstalled as expected. Worked great. Even lasted through my uniden r7s suction cup detaching and the whole assembly hanging by the rj11 wire alone. By the 3rd or 5th time my uniden un-suctioned, however, the rj11 had enough. Ground wire break somewhere inside the connector (verified with multi meter). So. Dont be lazy. Un plug/remove your uniden when you park!

Greater than one weekVery easy to install in the fuse box. Appreciated that the kit came with everything I needed - fuse remover, multiple type of fuse connectors etc. The power cord is plenty long for SUV. Only slight problem was the ground wire head was too small for the only available grounding point/nut that was close to the fuse box. Hope this lasts now…
