> 24 hourOk...... heres the scoop on this shower filter......First off the build of the housing on this filter stinks, the rubber seal all around the unit crimps up usually on one of the sides and leaks water wherever the crimped side is in your shower, and I dont like the housing itself the design is ugly and there are better designs which do not leak .For instance after using this and cursing the whole time i switched to this one which has never leaked and looks somewhat appealing to the eye........ https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0064I246A/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_90 You will be so much happier that you did.

> 24 hourI have been using this lil gem for years - replacing as needed. have to say the chlorine smell is gone, as well as the pleasure of knowing I have a purer water to shower in. I understand there are many concerns with water additives and unwanted pollutants which are only minimized, if that, in places of our country. I also use the ball balls which absorb chlorine et al to also avoid absorption in armpits, groin, and mucous membranes. bad enough a swim is a toxic hit for exercise, and now CA shores are even being negatively impacted three years after the Japan nuclear accident!>!>!>? any precautions to minimize water toxicity is beneficial, IMHO. this product was sent promptly and intact. highly recommended, esp for elderly and children.

> 24 hourI have been using these filters for several years now, and I really like them. Our water is super hard, and this helps to make showers more enjoyable and less drying to the skin.

> 24 hourSince the skin absorbs chemicals placed upon it, seems reasonable to keep harmfull toxins off of it.

> 24 hourWe have used these filters for a few years now and are very pleased with how our skin feels afterward. Whatever the filter removes - chlorine, etc. - it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth..not dry as hard water sometimes does.

> 24 hourI usually do not post many reviews but this had to be shared. I had the Rainshowr filter for awhile now and I just ordered another filter as mine expired. I was having doubts about the water I was consuming so I decided to test everything. I bought 3 different brands of testers so I had fair results. I tested bottled water, tap water, drinking water(I have Berkey Water Systems which dechlorinates!!), reverse osmosis water, etc. I’m so disappointed I got marketed into buying this filter. I purposely wanted to buy a filter to reduce chlorine to almost 0 ppm and I thought this was working. The problem was I believed the company. Their catchphrase is “dechlorinating shower filter.” Pics: The tester on the right is before the filter (tap water) and the tester on the left is after putting in the new filter and letting water run through it for 30 minutes. Just so you know it says filter should start working in 30-60 seconds.

> 24 hourThe Rainshowr CQ-1000 is a good quality compact shower filter that is inexpensive and has a great value with its refill system. Replacing the spent cartridge with the replacement was a breeze, and the cartridge recycling program is a plus as well. The original cartridge lasted much longer than other KDF & mixed media filters Ive used in the past which tend to clog from hard water or have shortened life with soft water as the KDF material becomes a solid mass from its normal oxidation process. Its nice that it isnt a huge, heavy filter like some units, and you dont need to waste the main housing every time it needs recharging. [...]
