Without any scientific evidence, Im advancing my simple observations - the product works. After months of constant use, my skin and scalp problems have diminished. Certainly, the filter has not hurt the use of various skin and scalp products. I could immediately notice the change in water: we live in an area with extremely high mineral content. Glad I bought it, ordered refills several times, and would recommend friends and relatives the same, without any reservation or hesitation. Ive waited this long to provide time-tested testimony to others with similar needs. Best wishes to the inventor and engineers who brought this product into existence!!

I have had no problems with Rainshowr products. I like the idea of bathing in clean water, so I buy these products. But I dont have any scientific documentation to prove that they do what they claim.

Weve used these excellent shower filters for many years, and have always used their mail-back recycling program. However, the replacement filters I just received (Aug. 2015) have a note affixed to the packaging stating, We will be discontinuing our 15 year recycling program. Mailing filters back to us has become cost prohibitive to our customers. Old media which was recovered was given free to smelting companies, yet our costs in processing old filters kept going up. We truly regret having to discontinue this effort. Please put your old filters in your communitys solid waste containers. These hard plastic filters are gonna last a long, long time in our community landfill and that is just too sad to think about, so we will be looking for a more recyclable shower filter...bummer!!

My Rainshower head is 18 yrs old & happy to keep using it w/ a fresh filter cartridge replaced when less water comes out.

This thing works tremendously. Showering in LA city water is like showering in a pool and its disgusting. Not to mention, chlorine gas (when it steams) is highly toxic. Showering with this filter is like showering in a spring! A great relief. Very very easy installation with a wrench and I was in business in less than 5 minutes. The shower head is not luxurious but I like it a lot - good pressure and all. Its been over a year and the water seemed to be getting a bit of chlorine in it again. I bought a replacement filter and popped it in in less than 2 minutes and I was back in business. Great product for a great price!

these seem to work very well and get me easily through the year on one. I approve of this filter.

This is an easy way to remove the chlorine form your shower water. I already have the head, this is the replacement. Easy to remove old one and replace with the new one.

This filter has stopped the dry skin normally caused by chlorinated water and the chlorine smell. We should have been using this filter for years.

I love my shower filter and even the replacement filter is USA made!
