I was able to fit it into my Rainshowr filter really easily without any tools. It lasts for a very long time and does a good job cleaning up water. My skin and hair feels better.

I have been using this brand for five years. I was happy to see this brand on Amazon. This filter makes a huge improvement in the condition of my skin and hair. I wish that they made a great tub-faucet filter, as well.

This filter has really improved how our very hard water feels. It is completely simple to install, as is the shower head it goes in to. Very effective!

Weve used this product now for several years in our master bathroom shower. Filter should be replaced at least once a year. Amazon has best price!

I live in Southwest Florida, and in the summer the water must be additionally purified with extra chlorination product to minimize the growth of bad things in the water. That is probably good. The bad news is that the water in the shower will dry your skin like shoe leather, and the chlorine odor from the hot water is like an overdone swimming pool. I got the rainshwr filter a few years back and it is perfect, removing all of the odor and skin-damaging properties of the chlorine. This last filter is number 5, I believe, and worth every penny. One filter will last 6-8 months, and is a must-have down here. They are very easy to replace, and as one reviewer noted, you will need a little bit of Teflon tape to get a leakproof seal.

Ok...... heres the scoop on this shower filter......First off the build of the housing on this filter stinks,the rubber seal all around the unit crimps up usually on one of the sides and leaks water wherever the crimped side is in your shower,and I dont like the housing itself the design is ugly and there are better designs which do not leak .For instance after using this and cursing the whole time i switched to this one which has never leaked and looks somewhat appealing to the eye........ https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0064I246A/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_90 You will be so much happier that you did.

As soon as u replace the cartridge you can feel the difference of chlorine free water. The product works but does need replacement every 6 months with just 2 people using it

My sister the hairdresser insists that my Mom and I use a shower filter to remove the chlorine from our water which greens our hair. This does the trick well. I just wish it lasted longer -- I thought it should last 6-months to a year, but each filter only seems to last 4 months max. and they are expensive. I like that this filter has been consistently available -- weve been using them for years. Before that, we would have to constantly buy new filtering shower heads because the filter would be discontinued and unavailable for replacement.

I love that I dont have to smell chlorine in my shower and I think having this filter is much better on my hair and skin as well.
