> 3 daySo many companies making truly effective products that are good for us and that help us be healthier are being taken over and shut down or the products are changed and become less effective; as if there is an agenda to not let us do what we can to protect our health. Sheesh. So, if as I believe the case to be, that Rainshowr products still now are the best and effective, this is the best choice I have ever found for the best filtering.

> 3 dayI have been using these filters for several years now, and I really like them. Our water is super hard, and this helps to make showers more enjoyable and less drying to the skin.

> 3 dayOne of those things you start thinking, Is this really working or is it the placebo effect? Well, taking a shower somewhere away from home reminds you that it really does work. When your skin starts to shrivel and stretch about 30 minutes after the shower youll appreciate this filter more than ever. I enjoy very hot winter showers and my skin never seems to suffer like it used to pre-filter. Im definitely going to be using this as long as I can find it to purchase. Also, Ive never had issues with the waterproof ring that came with my original. No leaks, but its starting to look old and cracked after a couple of years, but still holding strong.

> 3 dayI have been using these filters for 10 years. I am sensitive to chlorine and these filters save my skin. With only two people taking a shower, they last a little under a year.

> 3 dayWeve used these excellent shower filters for many years, and have always used their mail-back recycling program. However, the replacement filters I just received (Aug. 2015) have a note affixed to the packaging stating, We will be discontinuing our 15 year recycling program. Mailing filters back to us has become cost prohibitive to our customers. Old media which was recovered was given free to smelting companies, yet our costs in processing old filters kept going up. We truly regret having to discontinue this effort. Please put your old filters in your communitys solid waste containers. These hard plastic filters are gonna last a long, long time in our community landfill and that is just too sad to think about, so we will be looking for a more recyclable shower filter...bummer!!

> 3 dayMy sister the hairdresser insists that my Mom and I use a shower filter to remove the chlorine from our water which greens our hair. This does the trick well. I just wish it lasted longer -- I thought it should last 6-months to a year, but each filter only seems to last 4 months max. and they are expensive. I like that this filter has been consistently available -- weve been using them for years. Before that, we would have to constantly buy new filtering shower heads because the filter would be discontinued and unavailable for replacement.

> 3 dayWe have used these filters for a few years now and are very pleased with how our skin feels afterward. Whatever the filter removes - chlorine, etc. - it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth..not dry as hard water sometimes does.

> 3 dayThese are a very important part of my every day life and have been for at least a decade. No problems with the filters. One of the Shower Filter encasement units corroded out though but it was in my home in FL that wasnt used for a couple of years. When used daily or even every few months Ive never had a problem with them.
