Rainshower -RCCQ-A CQ1000 Filter Replacement Cartridge for Shower Filter

Works well, it is not my first cartridge, Ive used a shower filter for years now. It will last more than a year for one person showering daily, but it is helpful to have a coupling for back flushing the unit. Additionally, it is difficult to install this filter in the housing without large water pump pliers, medium pliers, and Teflon tape. If you dont use these tools and tape to reseal the cartridge in the housing, the housing will leak. Last, as the cartridge ages, hot and cold will mix differently, and sometimes it will take a subtle adjustment of the hot water to get anything other than cold water out of the head. Im not sure if this applies to newer thermostatic valves.

I noticed that I started breaking out a ton when we moved into a house with very hard water. This helped immensely. I replace every 6 months.

I try to change my filters every 3 months or so and I can tell the difference in the shower water, as it shows signs of needing to be replaced

This thing works tremendously. Showering in LA city water is like showering in a pool and its disgusting. Not to mention, chlorine gas (when it steams) is highly toxic. Showering with this filter is like showering in a spring! A great relief. Very very easy installation with a wrench and I was in business in less than 5 minutes. The shower head is not luxurious but I like it a lot - good pressure and all. Its been over a year and the water seemed to be getting a bit of chlorine in it again. I bought a replacement filter and popped it in in less than 2 minutes and I was back in business. Great product for a great price!

The original Rainshowr CQ-1000-MS Shower Filter with Massaging Shower Head product we bought lasted for over 2 years before we needed to replace the filter. The new filter lost pressure within an hour of use. It literally drips out. Checked for stoppages, nothing there. Turned on the shower with the filter removed and have very high water pressure again but no filter. Unfortunately I am 2 days outside of the return window. Would not recommend due to inconsistency of product quality.

I have been using this filter system for 6 months; we were experiencing exceptionally dry skin and rashes from our showers. Both symptoms stopped after we started using the Rainshowr system! Great product!

These filter replacements have been reliably good, and everyone in our household feels and smells the difference in the water. No more itchy skin after showering. These arent designed to remove chloramine, which we have in our city water, but its worth using anyway. I think youre supposed to change the filters about every six months, but they last about a year for us, maybe because we take short showers to save water.
