Booting from the CD would cause the system to lockup. Went online and requested help, no response.

Im an experienced software/hardware tech. Ive been working professionally with various OS and networks since the 80s. A relative had a running CPU where Windows 7 was glitchy and had some pretty annoying issues. I used the disk for a quick fix to to get things back in shape because the user didnt want to upgrade from Win7. It was a disaster. After running the CD and going through all of the repair options the CPU wouldnt even boot independently and crashed over and over. I was so frustrated and annoyed that we bought a new CPU with WIN10 just to be done with it.

Dont do nothing

My computer suffered the blue screen of death while surfing the net. I tried my recovery disc I had made. No joy. The computer would not boot up no matter what I did. So, I decided to give this disc a try. After all. It was cheaper than a new computer. I started the computer, put the disc in, then rebooted the computer. I got a message to start the computer with the system disc which I did not have, contact the system administrator, or start the system normally. I selected to start normally. The computer started making good noises the lights were flashing, and then, WHALLA, the windows start screen came up. I logged in and everything came up. The disc worked!!! Now I am back in business. Good job. Thanks for your help. I rate this disc A+++.

Easy to install

did not work

The title of this product clearly says Reinstall DVD but in the note that comes with the DVD it says NOT a disk to reinstall Windows (our Amazon Listings clearly say that). Very frustrating and very misleading. DO NOT BUY IF YOU NEED TO REINSTALL.
