This is a very good quality product but it is so heavy and thick. I prefer Panavise mounts. It is great quality though and very reliable. It just takes up so much more room in the car and is not as flexible as panavise.

Dont waste your money. Buy the standard arms. As many as needed.

expensive but they work, I needed to extend a mount that came with a medium length arm so I had to buy this separately, it holds great, is easy to use and seems very solid, yes its expensive but seems well made. I wish ram mounts would give you the option to assemble the item you need piece by piece for a single price - mount ball, arm and mount end so it would be a little less and I didnt wind up with a part (medium arm that came with the original mount piece) that I probably wont be able to use but it works great for the purpose I needed it for.

Ordered wrong arm ball size. Sent it back. Works great, just ordered the wrong size.

Have a humminbird 899 mounted to my boat console with one of these, it hasnt moved a centimeter during trailering or when Im cutting through waves at 50mph.
