A easy way to make the ram mounts a little harder to walk off is using a cap head bolt with lock nut. The C size takes a 5/16 x 2 bolt found at home depot. Not completely theft proof but they will need Allen wrench to get it off. The smaller size arms use 1/4 bolts

Used this and many other Ram Products to build and awesome tablet mount for my boat. This arms is a C ball beast and looks much cleaner than Ram surf pole.

Another quality RAM mount product. The arms hold in place where you tighten them to on. They hold up very well. I use them to hold up Ag Leader monitors inside of tractor cabs and combines. The monitors have some weight to them and these arms, along with whatever ball mount you use to mount them to the cab, hold up very well and stay where you placed them. Love their products.
