> 24 hourExcellent secondary keyboard for gaming. Very sturdy. Keys have a resonate, click, when punched (much like the keyboards of yore) but this is pleasing and very beneficial to a gaming rig.

> 24 hourI like the keyboard but I got it from Amazon warehouse. I came without the O rings and key puller. It looked like someone just took them out and sent the keyboard back to Amazon because the keyboard looked like it hadnt been touched or the cable unfolded.

> 24 hourIt’s a great product and the green switches I have purchased are very satisfying but wow they get loud after a while. Not to the point of frustration but to where it can be somewhat irritating to someone impatient. If you don’t have green switches then solid keyboard, great build quality and RGB is bright and fully customizable which is really great especially if you want a tapered experience. I came from a Logitech gaming keyboard and this is just great. The synapse software lets you not only program buttons to other keys but it can do things from open a app to paste emojis and even do combinations of keys for overlay etc.

> 24 hourIve only had this product for a few months. I have the yellow keys. Ive been noticing keypresses registering more than once. I see this with the s key and e keys for example. I first noticed it while gaming and it would result in mistakes made during the game and Ive also noticed it with typing where I have to go back and make corrections. This did not happen prior to using this keyboard. It is bad enough that the keyboard has become unusable to me and I will be seeking a refund. Im very disappointed. *Update* Razer replaced my keyboard with a newer model so even though there was a defect, the company stood by their product and fixed the situation.

> 24 hourI love this keyboard, but its pretty loud. I wish the O-Ring Sound Dampeners were already on it. Im too lazy to put them on. However, I dont know if it will be as smooth with them on. I guess it is more quiet than the Huntsman keyboard. Every keypress on Huntsman sounds like throwing a brick against a wall, so this is much better. ...Razer Orange switch technology provides tactile feedback with a quieter click, requiring 45 G of actuation force; ideal for most gaming and typing experiences - I guess this is not completely misleading since it is quieter than the other Razer I had but the word quiet should not be in the description of this item since it is not. Are quiet mechanical keyboards a myth?

> 24 hourI will type this review exactly has it comes out of my keyboard: I bought this product because I like smaller keyboards, I also like lighted keyboards with good switches. Although the lighting iss great and the the clickynesss of the keyboard is great, there is some MAJOR problemss with keysss sticking and sstaying stuck for a loooong time. It just seems to be random and doesnt happen conssisteently from key to key. Although some keys seem to have morre problems than others, even AFTER constant cleaning of the keys and keyboard. After sseveral attempts of fixing this through upgrading Synapse (the driver sssoftwwware of Razer) and contacting support (running through their useless attempts to fix it), it continues to happen over and over again and causses major issues in competitive gaming (as well ass doing any sort of wrriting of code). You will dodge longer, or just seem to randomly do ssomething that you shouldnt. Asssss you can see with this review, the continual key stickynesss is nothing you would want in a game or to even do daily work. There doesnt seem to be a solid fix for it AND Synapse hasss been in beta now for years, so I dont expect a fix to come to the keyboard anytime soon. So my suggestion, serious gamerrs and developers should stay FAR FAR FAR away from this product and probably all Razerr keyboards. NOTE: This review was not changed other than to correct spelling errors. The repeattted keys you see are typing at a normal speed on the keyboard. So imagine how it is for gaming or writing code? Pathetic to say the least. UPDATE 04/16/2020: RRazerr reached out to me to help fiix the keyboard (afterr they reepliiied to thiis review). However, after II rreplied to them about my issue, the responded with a tiicket frrom theiiir tiiicketing system, and they neverr rresponded beyond me addiing additional information to it. As you can see, Im sttiill using the same keyboard and having the same problem (I cant geet a newerr keyboard yet to replace thiiis POS).

> 24 hourI didnt expect much and it was still a bit disappointing. I knew that Razers older keyboard were kinda terrible and I owned a Razer Blackwidow X Tournament Edition back in the day so I was mainly getting this keyboard just for nostalgia purposes. Ended up spending about $80 all expenses tolled and when it got to my house, I was met with wicked key inconsistencies. I also used to own a Razer Ornata so I thought i had seen the worst of their keyboards but this thing really did take me by surprise. The keys had lost all their tactility and sound. I thought at first I was given the wrong keyboard model so I took off a key and found their signature green switches like I had ordered. I eventually found out that keys were getting their click and tactility back the more I used them, so for about an hour I went around pressing all the keys about a thousand or so times until they felt and sounded decent again, and still there are problems. Some keys are so scratchy you can literally hear their springs being crunchy and colliding with something else in the switch. Im guessing since the click jakets in these switches were made with sand like Cherry Blues, they are falling apart over time with them just not being used. Either that or I got a heavily used pre owned model, which would be a mistake since I ordered a brand new item. Currently on the fence about getting an all out refund just because I ordered this thing just for fun and never really expected any serious usability. Either way, makes me think about how seriously terrible Razer used to be when making products that you go in expecting a bad experience and you still somehow walk out upset.

> 24 hourUpdate: Now that I know there is a much bigger world in mechanical keyboard, I see that this one is just an entry level cheaper-than-average keyboard. Considering the price, it is ok, but I want more, and more! I recommend to pay a little more and get a better quality keyboard in terms of feels and noise. So far, this keyboard is an outstanding experience for a new mechanical keyboard user. I’ve been using logitech K800, which uses scissor type low profile membrane keys, which works great with no wrist pain thanks to its extremely low profile, laptop-like keys. However, it lacks the fun, which I did not know there can be any fun in typing before I met this. Typing mechanical keys is so much more fun than typing the membrane keyboards. The mechanical key bounces back after being pressed, and that makes typing a lot more responsive and faster. Typing sound can be a matter of preference. Even though it uses orange keys, your coworkers may not like it. O-rings do not help much. It slightly reduces noise, but the typing feels better without it. The caveat is that the key height is much higher than my old low profile keyboard K800, so I am worried that there might be some fatigue in the wrist. I purchased a wrist pad as well, and so far it looks fine. If I ever purchase another mechanical keyboard, I would purchase the one with integrated wrist pad like the latest blackwidow v3.

> 24 hourReally superb all around keyboard. Price is great (I got it at $60), design is clean and not too in your face, which is welcome from Razer, build quality is solid, and quite pleased with the switches. The lettering looks really clean on the keyboard, and the backlighting is just right, not too bright or soft. Keyboard material, albeit seeming to be mostly plastic, still has a nice texture and premium feel to it. These Razer orange switches (brown equivalent) are wonderful and have made a noticeable difference for me when typing, both as a gamer and as a programmer. They are certainly an outright upgrade from the Outemu reds I had been using at my desk at home previously (I liked the smooth action but found I made a lot of mistakes with the low actuation force of the red switches), and Ill give them a slight edge in terms of personal preference for the softer switch action of the brown switch as opposed to the Cherry MX Blue switches I have in my keyboard at the office (currently not seeing much use, obviously). I am not ultra-sensitive to switch quality, I just prefer a keyboard with clean action and quality build, and after finally having given this style of switch a try I dont think I can go back. My only two *very minor* gripes are these: 1. Aesthetic from the side of the keyboard is a bit strange. The keycaps are very short in height and so the components underneath each key are visible, including the switch+switch housing. Seems like thats the aesthetic theyre going for, just not my personal taste, and its unnoticeable from above, which is where Im mostly seeing the keyboard from anyway. 2. Keyboard deck warped ever so slightly at one point so that it wasnt sitting flush with the desk. Not sure if this will resurface in the future, but I was able to unwarp it using raw man power (aka a very light bend back in the correct direction) and it has been sitting fine for over a week since I noticed the issue. These are not deal breakers in the slightest, just for others to be aware of when purchasing. Still love the keyboard, and certainly not worth subtracting a star.
