Good mouse for the price. I useed many mouses from around 7-15$ range of cheap brandes and so far this is the best. The build quality seems very good, the plastic quality feels very good for the price. The responsiveness is significant better and on different surfaces and the reaction speed. I cant measure it but i can feel it is significant better. The only physical downside i noticed so far is the scroll wheel sound. After several days of use it screams sometimes, but it is fine for the price. I couldnt find software for this exact model in reddragon web page to assign macros for the additional buttons. i also tried software/drivers for some other models from reddragon web page which look similar but it didnt work.

I love the fact that this gaming mouse is really good especially for its price, the only thing I dont like about it is the mouse being wireless, at first I thought it was a really good Idea to get it but then i realized that it wasnt that good of an idea to buy because when I play a game and my battery is low, I wouldnt notice it, and the mouse would die, I wouldve definitely reccomend if you dont mind this problem, but If I were to trade this mouse for a rgb wired mouse I would definitely do that. But overall this is a really good mouse and redragon never disappoints! (I have been using this mouse for 3 months now and it is still in tact, works perfectly, and none of the buttons became messed up or broken.)

A super comfortable mouse to use during long sessions of gaming or work. I had the M690 for years before I got the M690-1 and I can say the quality from the previous was upheld. Pros: -fits well in the hand -adjustable dpi -long battery life -great price -medium weight, not too heavy or light -pads on bottom move easily across the table -the rubberized exterior is soft and easy to hold on to Cons: -the left side has a button that is hard to reach -I am not a personal fan of the side texture Overall I love this mouse and would recommend it to anyone looking for a gaming mouse to bring on the go.

I got AA batteries charging for my kids toys so this was perfect for me. Battery life? i bought it about 4 months ago and only changed the battery once. DPI super smooth ergonomic for me. I took time to write this review. This mouse deserves a cookie.

INITAL POST AFTER RECIEVING: Well made, so far its held up to me clicking the middle wheel many times. The only thing I dislike is the DPi Settings dont go low enough for BF3 Im constantly over shooting my target 800dpi is the lowest, maybe 500 would be the right amount for this game. A little too narrow for my big hands, I added two 1/4 in pieces of foam weather stripping to the left side to get it to where I find comfortable. Otherwise its a good mouse for the money. FIRST UPDATE: Update after a couple of weeks using it to play game, right button is sticking. Ill have to spend more an order better brand. SECOND NEW UPDATE: RED DRAGON sent a customer review asking how I Liked the mouse. I let them know the issues and this was their response. GREAT CUSTOMER RESPONSE OR WHAT! Dear David, Thanks a lot for letting me know your concerns, this is Eline. I am sorry for the problem that the right button of your mouse sticks and DPI Settings dont go low enough for BF3. We have a wired mouse M711, which has 5adjustable DPI (500/1000/2000/3000/5000) can be shifted easily by pressing the DPI switch on the mouse.https://www.amazon.com/dp/product/B0751D11BL If you would like to try it, I will arrange the shipment for you. You can dispose your original mouse M690-1 and do not need to return it. Apologize for the inconvenience. Look forward to hearing from you. Replacement Mouse is not wireless, but thats not a big issue, I used a RAT for years. Hopefully this mouse holds up as well as it did. (5 years)

*** Please read entire review *** Would be ok for regular use, NEVER ok for gaming. Lag time from when the mouse is moved to when the cursor moves with stupid slow. Update on 4-29-2019. Since my experience was negative, the company contacted me. They asked if I would try one of their other mice, the Mirage 2. The Mirage 2 is another wireless mouse. It did perform better that the M690-1, however I still wouldnt recommend it for gaming. In my response to them I thought maybe its just the wireless aspect causing the lag. Redragon asked me to try one more mouse, The Cobra (M711 wired gaming mouse). To my delight, the was actually a pretty nice gaming mouse. After having the opportunity to use the Redragon Cobra mouse for a couple days, this is by far the nicest of the Redragon mice I have tried. Overall it feels good in my hand and more importantly provides precise lag free cursor control. The lighting looks nice (even better than my G502) The buttons all have a nice positive click. It would have been nice if the 3 buttons on the top were addressable rather than fixed to DPI, up DPI, down and lighting. On that same note, for a gaming mouse I think its essential to have user defined dpi settings rather than pre-programmed. For example. some games I find myself selecting say 650 instead of 600. A jump from 500 to 1000 dpi doesnt allow me to dial it in like I would like to. The scroll wheel feels nice. The rubber texture is great, but I prefer a more positive click while spinning the wheel. To compare it directly to my Logitech G502, I do miss the extra buttons the G502 has. The Cobra is light weight but not too light. It slides really well on my mouse pad, perhaps even better than my Logitech, but to be fair my Logitech has seen a lot of use. I like the lighting better on the cobra. The surface texture on the cobra feels great on top. I wish it was the same on the sides. I think the shape on the side of the mouse is more comfortable on the G502 but thats not to say the Cobra is bad, just my preference. Also keep in mind the G502 cost 3 times as much. The most important thing, it provides a good gaming experience, with no lag and precise control. This is a product I would recommend. As a matter of fact, my son who also has a G502 asked if he could use the Cobra instead of his mouse. Awesome for the price. Works great, lasts long time. Only Cons would be that its very plastic feeling and will slide off smooth surfaces.

UPDATE - Good support; item replaced quickly, Stars from 1 to 5! (I think the USB dongle just failed.) Original (after failure): Lets see how Support from Redragon is. My Sep 21 purchased red and black M690-1 Redragon mouse just died today. Sent in support request. Loved the mouse - design is nice and matches my desk. We will see how good support is. (PC woke up this morning but mouse did not. Tried other batteries, tried it in my laptop, and finally installed a back-up mouse that worked. (No ding-ding when plugging in or removing the nano receiver of the Redragon mouse.) Hope I get a new one. Will update as i get reply. Other than this (less-than-one-year) operating life, Id give this mouse 5-stars.

Put simply, it works great! I love the range of DPI options the mouse has and the ease of switching between them. Makes it very easy to switch sensitivity levels depending on what game or task being completed. I havent experienced any delay while gaming or simply browsing the web. It also seems to work well on all surfaces from wooden kitchen table to suede-like couch. Its a little more plastic-y then I would have liked but I suppose thats to be expected from such an inexpensive mouse. The red LED lighting is a nice added touch.
