It works as advertised. The tools that were included worked well. The digitizer feels thicker than the original screen on the iPad 7th gen model. My only complaint is that the adhesive isnt as strong as I would like, but that is all the reviews Ive looked at.

I don’t recommend buying any parts from RepairPartPlus. It is a waste of money. Customer service is not customer oriented. I regret my purchase from them.

New adhesive is not strong enough to hold it in place. Plus there now is an issue where the right side of my screen stops responding to finger touch and I have to restart my iPad. Never happened until the new screen was put in. Really annoying to have to restart my iPad randomly when I’m in the middle of something.

Received very fast. Easy instructions online to follow and put on. Made the process effortless. Take a bit of time to do everything but very nice product.

so glad I bought this and did it myself! kit comes with everything you need (besides a heat gun), i watched a youtube video to help me do it. I wish i would have cleaned the screen prior to sticking it down but thats a user error. Super impressed my ipad works perfect after sitting around for months untouched.

This was something that I had never done before. Followed directions to a T right after I watched 4 videos on the proper procedures. Nailed it on the first try. Delivered on time with great packaging.

One side of my screen keeps popping up, allowing dust to get in. I feel that (certain type of) glue would work better the supplied tape.

The kit included all the tools needed, but the instructions were inadequate. The paper instructions contain important recommendations (especially about the care needed to remove the home button), but lacked the details needed to complete the repair. To compensate, they included a card that directs you to their website to find links to YouTube installation guides. There I was directed to three guide videos. I chose the first one listed. Big mistake. From almost start, my experience differed from the video. My screen didn’t simply lift off in one piece, it cracked into small pieces along the edges and in each corner as I tried the insert the wedge. These pieces stuck to the frame, and more importantly, to the ribbon connectors attached to the screen…and particularly all around the home button assembly. In the process of trying to remove the pieces, the button separated from its support frame and one of the tiny black support pads peeled off the frame, remained stuck to the collection of black glass shards and adhesive, and was lost. My home button now does not work properly. I recommend you read the installation hints in the box and watch ALL three of the YouTube videos. I learned a lot thru trial and error and actually think I could now do this repair perfectly. I bought this $65 kit because I was worried that, despite their favorite ratings, the <$30 ones would be inferior quality. But, now that I may damage the new screen when I remove it to install a new home button, I’m buying one of the less expensive kits as a backup,
