Greater than one weekI had an excellent experience with this company. Everything you need is in the kit, except a maybe a hair dryer. The flex cable on my first delivery was torn and unusable, but RRP quickly replaced it with no problems. After that it was smooth sailing, relatively, for someone who has never done a screen replacement before.

> 3 dayI bought this product for my daughters iPad and loved the ease of use, so when my screen shattered down my personal iPad I knew I had to order from this company again. Excellent quality, very easy to install with great instruction!

21-11-2024Overall, I would describe this replacement as “okay”. The touch screen worked perfectly, the already attached adhesive strips were very convenient and the included tools were fine (it was nice it included all the necessary tools). The screen itself had a few flaws: there was glue on the screen near the connectors. Also, I didn’t notice it until adding the screen protector, but some weird vertical streaking on the glass itself. I would buy this again, but only for a specific situation: this is the second time my son broke his screen, and the flaws in the screen were fine for him. If you’re looking for a “near perfect” replacement, I would not buy this.

> 3 dayVery impressed with the product. Went on YouTube and watched several videos before attempting. My only suggestion is that if you are not a patient person do not attempt this. Use your hairdryer to thoroughly and I repeat thoroughly heat little portions at a time of the side of your ipad. Then attempt to lift it will make things much much much easier don’t worry about heat damage just don’t and be patient it took me an hour to get off my screen and then another 30 minutes to get off the little pieces that I cracked from the screen because I was impatient and tried to pry it up too fast. Patience is the key to this. Patience and heat. Once the screen is off and clean, the rest goes so quickly. Just be patient and follow directions. I watched several YouTube video. I recommend you doing the same and pick the person who makes the most sense to you. Was absolutely over the hill that I only had to spend $65 to replace the digitizer (top piece of glass on Your ipad is called the digitizer if you didn’t already know that. That piece of info will come in handy later). I priced it out in my area once with Apple and once with an Apple care contractor both were around $200-$250. Totally understand now that is the price of labor because it can take so freaking long to get the top piece off. However so worth it if your patient.

> 3 dayThis was an all in one kit that was perfect for anyone with a heat gun. I had a shattered screen all around the edges and this kit included everything needed to repair it. I would give this 5 stars but it seems the adhesiveness was subpar. If I were to do this again I would possibly think about getting gasket sealer or just better glue. Would buy this again and not even worry about what Im getting.
