The screen cracked during application. I took it to a repair place and they said it was definitely a poor quality screen and showed me the difference compared to what they had. I ended up paying the repair place. This screen was a complete waste of money.

Considering apple wants about $250 to replace a screen, this is an absolutely amazing investment to give a shot at saving hundreds of dollars. I had one put in my sons 2020 iPad and it’s doing great so far. Saved me $157 to be exact. It was out of its one year warranty with apple, so I had nothing to lose by trying to replace it with this screen. Definitely invest in this versus the cheaper ones. These are little easier to work with! Would buy again and do recommend.

If I hadn’t run into a problem with the factory installed screws it would have been easy to replace.

Thankfully many of the less expensive iPads have a glass screen that can be relatively easy to remove and replace. This kit comes with everything you need to replace the glass screen on your iPad. You will need to be willing to poke and prod and be comfortable with removing tiny plugs and screws to do this. I have used this kit twice. Every year or so my kid drops the iPad in a way that cracks the screen. This kit has saved me from paying hundreds of dollars for a new iPad when that happens. After replacing the screen the iPad feels new again. The touch sensitivity works like the original iPad screen. The one thing that I have not quite gotten right when replacing the screen is the home button. It is very tricky to have it site correctly on the screen and you can tell when touching it that it is not quite right. However with how the iPad functions using the touch controls it has not impacted the use of the iPad. Don’t deal with a broke screen, buy this kit and have your iPad look like new again.

I did have a working button - until this turned my working iPad into useless trash that I could never again power up or use. It cost me a new iPad. Save YOUR money if youre considering buying this.

Overall product was very good. It included all necessary parts to change out my broken iPad screen. The only issue I had was the included screwdriver was low quality and did not fit the screws well. I ended up slightly stripping one screw trying to use it before giving up and hunting down a real jeweler’s screwdriver to remove the screws. Other than that minor bit, everything else was good. The screen fit well and the included double sided tape helped for the home button bracket. I added a couple drops of super glue to the home button bracket just in case. This was my first time attempting to repair a broken iPad screen and I was successful. Take your time and be extra careful with the home button cable. Use a hairdryer or heat gun on low blowing on the cable as you carefully peel it from the old glass.

This was something that I had never done before. Followed directions to a T right after I watched 4 videos on the proper procedures. Nailed it on the first try. Delivered on time with great packaging.

This is a great replacement screen. Took me about 2 hours to replace the old cracked one. Everything you require is here. Just make sure to watch some videos before attempting the repair. And although these replacements are great, they arent as good as the genuine Apple part. But then again, none of them are. They always look a bit grainy and they dont have a fingerprint-resistant coating. I did know that ahead of time though. But short of almost paying the price of a new iPad to get it replaced by Apple, this is the only reasonable choice. And I personally, am very, very happy.

It needed some directions and more adhesive. Maybe even some more tools that can help when putting the new one on.
