I purchased this directly from their website but they dont provide a way to review it there... The digitizer is fine but the home button broke after 4 months - 1 month outside of the warranty window... arg. There is no way to contact them about it since they dont answer the phone and the link they provide checks that your three months are up and wont allow you to continue.

I am a retired IT pro of many decades and have repaired laptop and cell phone screens in the past so thought this would be a cakewalk. Not so. Its a very laborious, fine detail-oriented process that is not guaranteed to work. I was VERY careful to follow the instructions to the T, however after about 4 hours of putzing with the connectors and testing I could not get the screen to properly calibrate. The problem seems to be with the press-on connectors that take the signal from screen to processor. Its very hard to tell if they are seated properly, and to keep them seated during re-assembly. This may be an issue with every one of these kits, or at least for people that dont do it regularly. After that much time I decided it was worth it to just toss the old one and buy a good used one from Gazelle. It was worth the cost to give it a try but just be forewarned.

This screen is a very easy replacement for the oem screen. Comes with everything you could possibly need and their customer service is fantastic. Hopefully I dont need to replace a screen again in the near future but if I do I will 100% buy from again.

It’s great! Would rate 8 out’a 8! No hate mate! Pro tips: Do your research. YouTube is a marvelous tool! Watch a few videos and see if it’s something your capable of doing. It takes patience finesse and doing it right the first time. That being said, when it comes to replacing your digitizer take your freakin time! You’re not changing a lightbulb here. Set aside an hour or more of uninterrupted time. I replaced it right along with the guy on YouTube and it was seamless.

I tried this digitizer after trying my installation failed using a cheaper digitizer (showed key ghosting), but this one worked like a charm from the very first time. Great product!

so glad I bought this and did it myself! kit comes with everything you need (besides a heat gun), i watched a youtube video to help me do it. I wish i would have cleaned the screen prior to sticking it down but thats a user error. Super impressed my ipad works perfect after sitting around for months untouched.

I did have a working button - until this turned my working iPad into useless trash that I could never again power up or use. It cost me a new iPad. Save YOUR money if youre considering buying this.

The kit from RepairPartsPlus makes replacing broken glass screens a breeze and makes an iPad function like new again! There needs to be better adhesive provided for the bracket that secured the home button because it can get pushed in if used too hard when using only a couple strips of provided adhesive. A small piece of adhesive that is used for iPhone batteries would be ideal. Also, the glass is no where near as strong as the OEM version. This is the third time I had to purchase this glass but this time I also bought a glass screen protector to hopefully make this time as strong as OEM (the iPad is and has been in a fully enclosed Otterbox case).
