Tried this in several domes, never worked.

Love that this bulb is just heat and no light. We can keep it on all night to keep our creature warm on the cold winter nights!

Didnt perform as I expected. Didnt put off enough heat to keep chicks warm. and the coating cracked immediately.

Worked well as a brooder heat source. Chicks do not have light on them 24/7 which is unhealthy.

nice job for small animals such as my hedgehog

Did not last very long

I tried a couple of these ceramic heat lamps now and have since switched back to the standard bulbs. I dont feel these last much if any longer than the bulbs. My biggest concern however is that you cannot instantly tell when the lamp stops working. With the lighted bulb its simple, no light = no heat.

I actually use a few of these to heat underneath my RV and they work great! They put out quite a lot of heat for 100 Watts and are safer to leave alone than a space heater. I’ve been using them 24/7 for months now with no issues.

This is nice to keep something warm without cooking it. No light, only heat.
