Rio Grande Games Dominion Dark Ages Expansion, Brown

This is the most interesting addition to this game in quite a while. The mechanics are enough different from previous expansions as to not be just another version.

I have played original dominion intrigue hinterlands and dark ages and I have some limited experience with prosperity. This expansion in my opinion brings the most new concepts and strategies to the game while integrating well with all the other expansions that i have experience with.

I love this expansions. A LOT of new cards. A lot of trashers and cards that deal with trash. Really cool mechanics. Enjoyment is guaranteed!

I am a big dominion fan and this is one of my favorite expansions. This is the opposite of prosperity so if one is a big fan of big money strategies this may not be the best expansion for you. This expansions focuses alot on trashing cards and increases the play time some due to the fact that it is harder to build up treasure.

This expansion did not call out to me from the shelves of the game store (like Hinterlands did). While it looked somewhat interesting, I just thought the whole `cards that do something when you trash them mechanic was overrated and the theme was depressing. Well, I was wrong. After about a half dozen plays, I can say that Dark Ages is an excellent expansion.

I would give this item four starts, but my set didnt include the knight cards, as well as a couple others. These cards age fast, but there are some good cards in the package. A must for any fan!

Grate addition to base Dominion. My group now owns all but 3 expansions and this one is one of the best. The addition of Shelters, Spoils and Ruins add new strategy. The cards are fun and play with the other expansions well.
